If your governance doesn't allow you to challenge this, is it worth contacting Sex Matters to explore any options? (And, revise your profession's governance!)

I keep discovering new ways in which professions, organisations etc. have been captured. There has to be a means of contesting this before the only options is parallel structures.

In case you missed it on the other thread, CSP are now claiming the govt want to make it so people can refuse to be treated by a trans healthcare worker. Which is nonsense as the consultation refers specifically to intimate care.

I don’t care if my bloods are taken by a transwoman nurse but I do care if they show up to do my smear.

It's very worrying indeed. It seems like wilful ignorance of the law - which, as any fule kno, is no defence.
