As the title says yet again today's hearing/legal arguments have been rescheduled this time until the 1st of November. 🤬🤬

Such good news.

Yes, it's sad that some people don't think women should be allowed to spend money on causes they support!

@MargaritaPie

www.heraldscotland.com/politics/19624223.new-court-delay-case-scots-feminist-charged-hate-crime/

"The complaint alleges she directed threatening or abusive behaviour at three people"

So there were 3 people, not 2.

Makes you wonder why the protestors holding signs with horrifically offensive slogans outside the FiLia conference in Portsmouth recently haven't been arrested yet... 🧐
Waitwhat23 · 28/10/2021 20:51

@MargaritaPie

What happened to the "garden" this time?
For all the times you have stated as fact that Marion was guilty (and had posts deleted for commenting on an active case), for the slanderous accusations you saw fit to make and for all your nasty snide comments about the Scots language and culture...

....I hope (but think it extremely unlikely) that you are cringing yourself inside out now.

littlbrowndog · 28/10/2021 21:09

Naw she never will.

TalkingtoLangClegintheDark · 29/10/2021 01:12

OMG somehow I missed this till now! Amazing news, so very happy for Marion - but still sickened that it got this far and they put her through all that.

Is change really in the air? I so bloody hope so!

It’s weird isn’t it, almost like there’s some mad double standard…

TalkingtoLangClegintheDark · 29/10/2021 01:22

@Artichokeleaves

Very, very happy for Marion to keep my donation if it helps her with keeping her house and managing the legal fees incurred this far, and to be prepared if this is merely a delaying tactic to avoid the world press being around while the Scots govt are humiliating themselves in court.

I would also dearly love to see Marion's legal team sue for financial abuse and the process being a weapon to punish her for doing nothing anyone has managed to put in a court room and prove was a crime. So if you need more gardening Marion, just let me know. I'll always stand behind any female being abused.

Absolutely this 💜🤍💚

Good article from Stephen Daisley.

I was on holiday in Spain (put your envy pants on) and found a Dinosaur sitting by the pool on a life buoy (a plastic one I add). Laughed my head off and took photo which I have yet to upload.

Hope MM sues the pants of the bastards for squillions

Presume its safe to post this as the BBC is the source. www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m0010w2z

12 minutes 10 seconds onwards, the BBC named David Paisley and Rhiannon Spear (SNP councillor) as 2 of the complainants.

So now we can talk about it openly, presumably?

Paisley is the new Harrop. Actually worse than Harrop.

And the SNP should be mortally ashamed, but I bet they won't be. Absolute disgrace of a political party, total dictators. I worry for Scotland.

KittenKong · 29/10/2021 11:47

Spear is a piece of work.

Ereshkigalangcleg · 29/10/2021 11:56

The same, I'd say.

Spear? What on earth grounds for?!
Datun · 29/10/2021 12:47

That BBC sounds clip.

And the broadcaster saying it's about a wider issue of people being able to self identify their own sex on things like company boards and in legislation.

Every time I hear it I think what the bloody hell are we doing!

The entire premise is absolutely batshit.

aliasundercover · 29/10/2021 12:50

I’m worried about poor David Paisley. Before this decision he was so terrified that he was going to leave Scotland. Now I’d guess he’s so scared of ribbons and tweets that he’ll have to beg Jeff Bezos to help him run away from the Earth.

TalkingtoLangClegintheDark · 29/10/2021 13:03

It’s outrageous that they’re keeping it “under review”, just cat and mouse tactics. She’s off the hook - but not completely, just so there’s still that niggle of anxiety to keep her awake at night. It’s disgusting.

How long could that “under review” status be kept in place for, does anyone know? I really hope she does sue them for the distress this has caused her. Nothing but a witch hunt.

flummoxedlummox · 29/10/2021 13:03

I feel confident in saying that David Paisley is a bad actor. Grin

In every way Grin

I think there is a month in which paisley or Spear could ask for a review. It can't be open indefinitely because that would be a breach of article 6 ECHR.

KittenKong · 29/10/2021 13:33

One never seen him act - only his performances on social media

Thanks, sheRa, good to know.

I wouldn't recommend his actual performances - River City (the soap he 'stars' in) is utter shite.
Thefartingsofaofdenmarkstreet · 29/10/2021 21:32

I find David Paisley, how can I put this.....insincere, to say the least.

nauticant · 29/10/2021 21:34

Surely the fact that he moved countries for his own safety means he's sincere.

He did move, didn't he?

Selkiesarereal · 29/10/2021 21:45

Yes of course he left as he said he was going as it’s just so unsafe here, all those dodgy ribbons, very scary.

In all seriousness I keep reading this with complete incredulity that this actually happened and the police devoted so much time and effort into rogue ribbons given that they are short staffed and it’s not as though there is not a lot of really horrifying crimes happening.
