Anyone else stunned at the hypocrisy they're witnessing?

I really shouldn't be surprised by now, but...

I'd just like to point it out (hopefully the screenshots attach).

There's also David Lammy who wants violence against women and girls to be treated as terrorism. Thanks Dave, agreed. But didn't you just recently call women who want to protect their rights, who are trying to stop safeguarding for women and girls being dismantled, ''rights hoarding dinosaurs''?

Keir Starmer also so sad about VAWG. The same Keir Starmer who just said that women's reality is something that ''shouldn't be said''.

How are you going to protect women and girls from male violence when you're so terrified of backlash from males that you're pretending you don't even know what a woman or girl is?!

🤡🤡

Excellent research, Winter Hair! Thank you for sharing that. It really does highlight the gender ideologists' capacity for cognitive dissonance.

ItsRainingProstateHavers · 02/10/2021 13:02

It’s infuriating. They cannot connect the dots. And they think they’re so righteous and one of the good guys for tweeting about it or discussing it.

I'm not surprised, hypocrisy is their middle name but I am sickened by it.

This, a million times this:

How are you going to protect women and girls from male violence when you're so terrified of backlash from males that you're pretending you don't even know what a woman or girl is?!

They are cowering in fear and cravenly submitting saying "Don't hurt me, hurt them" and then start hand wringing and weeping and wailing about VAWG, they make me want to vomit all over them.

This point was made brilliantly by the female marathon runner who was on 5 Live yesterday morning. Well worth a listen. It’s about 1.08 in.

Not stunned, not in the slightest. Hypocrisy, contradiction and pious fraud runs all the way through the movement like in a stick of rock.

RufustheBadgeringReindeer · 02/10/2021 13:08

I don’t actually have any words that aren’t sweary or derogatory so I’ll just say that i agree

Violetparis · 02/10/2021 13:11

Totally agree, the hypocrisy is astounding.

Waitwhat23 · 02/10/2021 13:11

What I find most bizarre about this all is that an ideology which has courted and encouraged open hatred of women, allowed rape and death threats openly made against women to go unchallenged, encouraged dehumanising slurs and villainised women as being evil, bigoted bitches....

Are then handwringing and mouthing platitudes over increased violence towards women and girls. They created this incel's wet dream!

Imnobody4 · 02/10/2021 13:27

I'm waiting for just one to say they've rethought their position on single sex spaces. Just one. Despise the lot of them.

Thanks for that, she expressed it brilliantly. I notice the presenter was totally flumoxed, and said a few things like 'people's existence is being threatened Hmm'.
That is such a ridiculous argument, trans people exist, I can see them, I can talk to them - there they are, they exist. And they have the protections in law that everyone else has.
What they really mean when they say 'exist' is that we are not validating their sense of themselves, which doesn't mean that they don't exist, just that they don't like that someone doesn't agree with their version of themselves. Not the same thing at all. Grr.

They are jumping on the bad wagon. If they actually have it one minutes thought they would recant / but no. They perform cry in public and add their pronouns to their twitter account (looking at you, London mayor).

andyoldlabour · 02/10/2021 13:33

I wondered who Alex Sobel was and found that he is a Labour MP, who has been pushing a campaign to have Mr and Mrs removed in order to makeway for the gender neutral Mx. He also supports trans rights activists who would ban single sex changing rooms, toilets and prisons.

"Women who object are bigots who should not vote Labour, the MP declared."

GrumpyMiddleAgedWoman · 02/10/2021 13:33

Nope, this is 100% predictable. Just like the Graun having an article about how 'all women know they are prey' after accusing women of being liars, hoaxers and right-wing trolls about the WiSpa incident.

They are all either lamentable human beings, or have the sort of critical thinking skills that would be thought a bit lacking in Key Stage 1 at primary school.

They claim to be on our side when it suits them, and stab us in the back. They are not debating in good faith.

TedImgoingmad · 02/10/2021 13:42

They don't care. They are all misogynists. They have to be seen to be caring because of poor Sarah's case being so high profile, but they can't reconcile women's day to day reality with the gender belief system they have adopted. They are all breathtaking, brazen hypocrites who have convinced themselves they are always right, will never apologise and never pause for self reflection just once. When their hypocritical stances don't stack up, and don't look good for them, they won't say, "I was wrong, I am sorry, GC women have a point, let's talk" etc etc. They will just delete, block, pretend it never happened and carry on as usual. In a couple of months when Sarah Everard's name is no longer in the headlines, they will revert to their usual brazen woman hating.

Vaselike · 02/10/2021 13:47

This has also massively ired me this weekend. We’re right to not trust the police, abs to feel unsafe walking home or night, but it’s perfectly fine to expect us to put up with people in the changing room who never have, and never will have, a cervix.

EyesOpening · 02/10/2021 13:49

Wow, it's just crazy isn't it, it's like they they get so close to it but then veer off at the last minute.

EyesOpening · 02/10/2021 13:53

"Women who object are bigots who should not vote Labour, the MP declared."

Don't worry, Alex, we won't.

IIRC, the question asked (the one on his pic in the OP) wasn't even aimed at him, he just butted in with a blunt 'no'.

Then went on a rant about toilets and bigots, when the question was about hospitals, schools, refuges and prisons.

''We must do better''. Yes, Alex. And how is caging women with men that have been convicted for raping women protecting women, exactly? How is allowing males into women's refuges, the places women go to to flee male violence, protecting women?

Hmm

I was coming here to post that OJ tweet. Makes my blood boil. He doesn't give a shit about females. Worrying about misogyny? Fuck off Angry

Bandwagon jumpers without any principles whatsoever.

RoseisMadder · 02/10/2021 14:16

I remember in the immediate aftermath of Sarah’s death I joined the Reclaim the streets group on FB and it very quickly became an MRA group. I commented on an news article shared ‘What if her murderer declares his identity as TW?’ A very valid question I felt…. You can probably guess the answers I received

Love the way he adds in “obviously exclusively women”. So presumably anyone then?

Joan Smith has written a whole book about the links between terrorism and male violence against women, but she was able to define her terms so Sadiq Khan gave her the boot.
