To be fair and accurate, the BBC is not responsible for collecting the licence fee. That gig goes to Capita, another beloved British institution.

It was interesting to note that the women who did not medal/or do as well as hoped looked absolutely devastated.

Oddly enough though, someone looked fucking delighted to fail.

I’d be intrigued to know why.

I have a relative who needs testosterone suppression to treat his prostate cancer. Pretty bizarre to me to think that there are sporting bodies out there that think that means he counts as a woman if he wants to.
Yes. And the suppression goes way below the levels that the IAAF sets for entry in women's events:
