It's okay to let people be who they are.

Logically, “non-binary” should be the very opposite of “trans”, but it’s all so gloriously incoherent and conceptually daft that this doesn’t seem to have occurred to people. It’s never clear whether “non binary” refers to sex or gender, either, and I’ve never heard anyone be coherent on this front. On the one extreme there’s “nullification surgery” (though interestingly when I’ve read about people who have that done they seem to be gay men with a fetish, not “non binary”); on the other extreme it’s just teenage girls wanting a short haircut and not “identifying” with gender stereotypes.

There’s no material thing called “non-binary” to identify as, so it’s basically creating a fantasy narrative in people’s minds about their “identity” - but the fact that it merges binary sex into ideas of binary gender means it’s all a mishmash of pretending sex is the same as gender and vice versa.

But if anyone can point me to any coherent logical explanation of what “non-binary” actually is (that isn’t just a scrambled load of contradictory made-up stuff about stereotypes and “identity”), please do. I’ll wait….

Thinking about it, I would happily go along with a child "being" non-binary if it postponed (preferably forever...) them seeking hormone treatment and getting their breasts lopped off. So Happy Non-Binary Day to all the children on this thread!......

I think the sex of the child is relevant. Male children it seems a harmless pause to experiment with clothes and nail varnish.
Surgery seems to be sought after if female.
Which seems to underline the misogyny to me.

Well it seemed like a good idea at the time - out and a little in the early morning air, chased around the park by a sergeant major, jumped on by the local dogs when doing press ups... it’s great (then a huge English breakfast when I get home).

Oh full english sounds good…we were supposed to be going out for breakfast tomorrow but dd is self isolating 😩

I had a full English on my balcony this morning & it was lovely.

I’m going for drinks tomorrow with a friend I haven’t seen for years. We’ve already had to postpone once due to self-isolation, I just hope it doesn’t happen again.

if I don't do at least a couple of downward facing dogs per day I find behaving like a rational human being a bit of a challenge. but i'm just sitting here sweating. i don't think i can face it.

They asked for further suggestions. Mine was “Is it curable?” 😂
