Does this have any basis in fact? I know plenty who think the GRA should be repealed. None have been right wing, ring leaning, aligned with the right or even come close to what Ruth states here.

This tweet is a flavour of what I've seen. And I think the sentiment is fairly accurate IMO.

What do others think? Do you think the GRA should be repealed? Are you or have you ever been, right wing, right leaning, right adjacent or meet the description Ruth has for women who have said the GRA should be repealed?

It's legal. The spa is not going to get shut down and they know it. As has come out since, they've had previous complaints, and they know it won't get the spa shut down.

there's also the fact that, importantly, none of the other guests seem remotely concerned about this supposed predator, suggesting that they think it's bullshit too.

What video did you watch? There is a crowd of distressed women behind her who look like they've departed the spa area in a hurry.

There are quoted statements by the spa manager and staff in some reports. Whilst the video doesn't show the transwoman or their genitals, there isn't evidence it is fake.

I believe victims. the woman in that video was not, and does not claim to be a victim, and there is no actual evidence that there was a victim, a victimiser, or an incident.

They weren't worried because it's perfectly legal there now for males to be in women only spaces, even places where there's nudity and children.

Probably more worried about the backlash they'd receive if they'd told the flasher to get out...

Everyone talking about evidence. You really expect a woman to start filming someone like that and risk her own safety further? Film in a place where there are children undressed?

Women don't need to lie about this shit because this has happened numerous times and the offenders have handily posted the evidence themselves. Like the one posing with an erection in a women's refuge, like the videos of males masturbating in women's toilets with little girls in earshot.

I'm not convinced we've watched the same video or that you've watched it at all.

There were multiple women and girls who had left the Spa area and were in the lobby area with robes. As well as the black woman who made the video there was another woman who could be seen demanding her money back.

As others have said the Spa are unconcerned because they have the law on their side. California has made indecent exposure and voyeurism even around minors, legal.

There was mother from a previous incident at Wi Spa (seems to be a regular occurrence) who did try to raise attention to it. She went the police who were dismissive and victim blaming.

She joined the protest and was intimidated by anti women activists.

She made a video and a twitter account and was suspended because Twitter is the personal playground of males who like masturbate in bathrooms, not mothers who want to expose a violation of them and their daughter.
