I used to do fancy links with the brackets etc but decided it was better to be transparent and just paste in the URL.
(Except for 'portals'.... I actually reported my trick to MNHQ in case they wanted to find a way to disable it)
In general clicking obscure links is unwise but I think we can make a judgment if it's from a poster we trust, so please do carry on EA.

I've been filling in a few gaps, highame. I have lots of lovely stuff in June - delphiniums, campanulas, geraniums, peonies etc but then not much once they're done.

I've got a load of cosmos waiting to be shoved in today but I need to do some hacking - excessive amounts of dogwood. It's quite satisfying how much of that can be stuffed into a brown bin which already looks quite full.

Its got very long horns highame - I wouldnt want it to make it angry - I hope its GC.

There was a visitor here recently who was ever so pleased that they's learnt to do links with masking text and peppered their posts with them as 'evidence'. There was zero chance of me clicking any of their hidden links. Why would someone think that anyone would follow a link they can't see which was posted by a new poster or newly name-changed poster?

I've just had a refreshing if oddly healthy lolly - DH accidentally bought (maybe it was a substitute in the online order) some raspberry kefir drink. Which I couldn't see us drinking so I dug out the lolly moulds.

Just popped in for a strong coffee, if the machine behind the bar isn't on the blink due to underuse again! Large Americano please with an extra shot, and one of those nice wee individually wrapped biscuits on the side. Ta

Needed a breather as I've finally had THEE discussion at work and put all my womanly cards on the table. It's been a long time coming and we all knew it but skirted around the issue. Most remained quiet. One colleague expressed the total opposite viewpoint as me in well known catchphrases, but we get on well, so we agreed to disagree after they called me a 4 letter acronym which only served to make them look bad and made me laugh. They could not answer any of my questions or explain how the new way of grouping people was an improvement on the old fashioned way so we left it at that, but I think my questions have started the wheels turning for some colleagues. So, while my heart was pounding out of my chest the whole time, I feel quite proud that I finally stood up for women and was honest about what I believe. I've been silent and scared for so long.

I'm exhausted now so going to it here quietly. Feel free to join me. Oh, here's my coffee, perfect timing!

@PetticoatSoldier have several of the wee green foil wrapped mints to go with your coffee or a big slice of cake (there are several types under those big glass domes), whatever you prefer.
