I go with the last option as well.
Just doesn't give a fuck
Loads of stuff that societies should care about as a whole are shunted off to 'women's' stuff and therefore a problem for women to sort and men can happily not worry.
These include things like rape, CSA, child poverty etc etc
In this case. Men want something. That's pretty important. If there are potential problems. Well that sounds like a women's issue? Pretty niche, not that important
I think the extent that men do 'bros before ho's' is underestimated.
Also the extent that they are still fundamentally discomfited by men who don't act like 'men'.
So men want want something. That's important.
What are the upsides? Men who aren't 'real men' aren't in their bogs gyms etc making them feel uncomfortable. Masculinity is preserved.
Where do they go? In with the girls! They're not proper men.
I hate to say it. And again I say say I am namalt etc.
But toxic masculinity is a thing.
And really an awful lot of men in the UK honestly don't see women as full people. Like they see men. I can count on the fingers of one hand the men I've met in my whole life who saw me as a person first.
In the end for lots of men, women are other. Constructed of stereotypes. Etc. Men and non men.
We're not really whole people. So, of course if a man says he is one then that's ok. In the end we're just tits arse cunt and go invisible after 40 or so.
This whole thing just shows 100% that men see us as not. People in our own right. But as a costume
It's so depressing.
I've always got on better with men than women (not trying to be a cool girl) but fucking hell I choose my friends of both sexes so carefully.
