Includes a chapter on trans. The very first page includes the assumption that women like us don't want trans-identifying people to have the same rights as every other human.

I certainly believe that trans people should have all the same rights that I do. I don't believe I have rights to enter sports, prisons, toilets etc designated for the opposite sex.

I've seen O'Brien do a really thoughtful interview with Rory Stewart: a genuine robust but respectful grappling to find common ground and reach some kind of truth. I found it quite annoying to see what he's capable of when he doesn't treat an interview as a contest for pissing rights.

Majiid is understandably aware of the dangers of group think and cult like behaviour.

I can't think of many male people (maybe Graham Linehan?) who can see this from a predominantly safeguarding viewpoint. They see it as a right of expression, LGBT rights or a free speech issue.

He's been promoting Trump's Dominion machine conspiracy rubbish so I don't think he's free of cult - like behaviour himself.

This issue does cut across political lines which is one of the difficulties. If people hear "sex is not binary" form people they generally respect they tend to accept it. And if they hear the opposite from those who support mad conspiracy theories they'll be doubtful.

Not sure how we get round this really but on the odd occasions when I've been asked for some good voices on the issue I steer clear of people who have very strange views elsewhere.

I’ve listened to him for years, never liked him but I do enjoy his show. I feel the same about a lot of LBC presenters (like Andrew Pierce who did the 10am slot yesterday and today). O’Brien is awful to any callers that he doesn’t agree with, a few years ago he would be nasty but these days he just patronises them and proclaims how he feels sorry for them. I’ve also heard him doing the rounds hawking his book, I thought it sounded really unappealing. Aanother middle aged, privately educated white man that has been in therapy

He drives me absolutely bananas!! Much prefer Majid, but usually end up catching JOB. Sooo sanctimonious, insincere and can be quite nasty to callers. No thanks

See I think that about Majiid. He just comes across as an awful person who is aggressive. Like a Trump supporter. He has done good in bringing the China abuse to public attention but apart from that I think he is vile. I like JOB he isn't perfect but Majiid actually made me want to tweet snd complain. I have never done anything like that in my life. Majiid is awful. Sorry to detail the thread.

i find the opposite- most of my male friends and family get it immediately- the women not so much.

He really isn't. He makes me so angry when he says answer my question... answer it and then doesn't listen and then he thinks the Great Barrington is great science. HmmIt's too binary.

Both JOB and Majid Nawaz have got their faults. However, they are both better than the vile , thick Nick Ferrari who I cannot bear.
Ferrari doesn’t utilise any critical thinking for any subject
