I've just seen on Facebook, a good friend, who has seen the Pink News article and is calling Mumsnet all the names under the sun.

Never discussed the TWAW thing with her so don't know how she stands on it. Could be either way - she's youngish but also has a teenage daughter. I'd rather talk to her about it than enter a FB discussion but really want to put something.

Seeing as PN are specifically referencing MN it might be an idea for the OP @Dhalandchips to get this thread name changed to something more recognisable as I imagine some people will come looking to see what it was all about.

In some ways, whether or not you click direct to PN or read an archived copy we give them the oxygen of publicity they need to keep going (there were rumours they were in financial trouble) by acknowledging them.

Maybe they once were a newspaper reporting information and facts. Now they are just some huge wind machine puffing air into the hot air balloon of trans activism.

The real problem is once one of their articles is available virtually it will be used as a reference source for future items in MSM. They wont bother to check, they will just use PN as fact.

This has been one of the biggest problems in trying to get any sort of rational reporting on the issue.

I have said this before - I have never been in an abusive relationship, I have never seen someone twist things, deny, deflect, gaslight and outright fucking lie at times.
