"I went to board my flight today, having had my ESTA approved online. I have not been allowed to board because my ESTA has been withdrawn and nobody in the US Embassy or at Homeland security can give me a reason why. I have to apply to the embassy."

I would seriously hope that Adrian Harrop has seen what has happened with Caroline and then has decided that it would be 'hilarious' to post a pic of the embassy and 'allude' to the fact that he might have been involved as a joke.

Rather than.... Actually being involved? Even he wouldn't do that would he? You would have to be seriously unhinged.

I can't really contemplate that anyone at all would try to stop someone else going about their daily lives for almost any reason.

If someone went to the US Embassy for the purposes of getting someone's Esta spuriosly revoked and in any way used their job as a means of giving them credibility, surely the governing body would be interested.

If you are going for a conference then you need to apply saying you are going on business. If you have not and they know now you are attending a conference then they will pull it.

Being refused an ESTA does not impact on future applications.

No one can "bomb scare" your visa, people try all sorts. Its done on your application and the data they have available.
