That list is funny, it labels all the non binary people as such, but all the transwomen are not labelled.

Just chatting to DH now about Luciana Berger on R4 this morning. He said: “”I know you’ve been talking about this for a while, but did you hear that Lib Dem woman on R4 this morning? That’s it! I totally get it now and there’s no way I can vote Lib Dem.” A conversation ensued about ballot spoiling...

Of course you’re not inciting hatred - your comment was fantastic . Parents of ‘trans’ kids often double down without thinking logically . Carry on the fight xxx

Liz in Sheffield is extremely sound . The TAs tried to destroy her business after she hosted a women’s meeting at short notice because TAs had shut down the planned venue. She’s brave and principled . One councillor was utterly determined to bring her down . Didn’t succeed ha ha

The thing that I want Luciana Berger to explain is the situations where it is necessary to treat somebody as female.

Most of the time I just want to be treated as human.

I only want (and need) to be treated as female in a very few specific situations and they are all related to biological sex.

I'd go as far as to say that if somebody is specifically treating me as female in a situation where my sex is irrelevant, they are probably being sexist.

It does really feel like the tide is turning. None of this was happening last year. I may still be politically homeless but at least it feels like people are starting to talk about it properly

It’s more mainstream and hopefully the Dewey-eyed dingbats will be getting bored of their rainbow unicorns and looking for their next trend. The rest will be opening their eyes, engaging brains and getting fed up of being pushed aside.

I actually know my LD candidate from years ago. I expect he'd fudge a reply and then go about complaining to all and sundry about how transphobic I've got.

And worrying how many people who feel gaslit or disenfranchised.

Many people don't believe people can change sex and worry about the safety of the daughters, but have no one speaking up for them....except perhaps Trump. Assuming that if something is repeated often enough in the media and by influential politicians, actors and others in the public eye, it becomes true, is a very dangerous game. One which Trump has been able to capitalise on. spite all his failings, he really could be reelected. The LibDems should realise that simply repeating TWAW undermines your credibility. In the same way as Hilary Clinton might blather on about strong women. People may not say anything, or not have the voice to say anything, or you may be incapable of listening. It does not matter. They think you are wrong and won't vote for you.
