I think I will challenge this notice seen at local hospital

I saw this in the adolescent (includes under 16s) waiting room when attending a regular clinic this morning.
I mentioned it to the consultant (not his area) who suggested I email and he would pass it on, but hadn't looked at it properly himself.

I want to keep it very short and don't want to affect DS's care or the attitude of the staff towards me.

I thought I would challenge the use of "assigned at birth" and the sex chart being inappropriate (and daft)

Anybody around to help me word it succinctly and clearly?

Not sure what they are trying to say is “gay Sex” but all seems very daft and I’ll thought out

How can 'girl and girl' have penis sex? Obviously the girls are not trans as that has a separate box.

I think someone has assumed that "inclusion" means that every intersection of every combination has to mean a default "yes". But because they've done this for ideological reasons they didn't stop to think what the "x" marks were actually saying.

In other words, signal but don't think. Thinking can lead to exclusion. Exclusion is bad. Therefore thinking is bad.

I honestly have no idea what this poster is trying to say! I think you should ask them to explain it to you and see if anyone actually can.

OP, you could innocently ask for clarification on what it's meant to mean since someone presumably put the poster up to educate and inform. You could explain that you were confused.

I think that someone made the gay sex poster and was supposed to tick certain boxes only but got sidetracked and forgot to finish it off. Otherwise it's just batshit!

Also, "more than just male and female", nope, I don't think so. We have xy chromosomes (male) and xx chromosomes, (female) , no other combinations that i know of. We can certainly choose our gender, but we can't change our sex.
