Looks like the usual people turned up for a photo op at Manchester pride, though to be fare there were 11 not 8 as usual.

Carry on protesting because its a good reminder of the actual numbers if that is all the people that can protest the second biggest pride in the UK.

OMG those Pride pics. That little girl approaching the puppy fetishists because she's too young to understand that adults dress like that for sexual purposes and they aren't just playing dress-up the way another child would, it makes me feel sick with fear. This, plus misogyny, plus corporatism, are why I have never attended Pride in my lifetime. Bespin, you know that trans privilege activists have created a hostile environment for dissenters and forced many of us to stay silent or pseudonymous. Coming on here to say that only eleven women protested lesbian erasure isn't bragging that no one agrees with those lesbians, it's bragging about how successful TPAs have been in their efforts to scare women into silence. No LGBT person should object to lesbians being at a Pride march. the fact that they have to protest their right to exist should concern all of us.

Lesbians and trans people both have a protected characteristic. Lesbians saying they are same sex attracted is not transphobic. Trans people demanding lesbians should get over their 'genital preferences' is a breach of equality law, its anti feminist, and its homophobic.

If you force me to pick a side, I will pick the side of lesbians, because corrective rape rape - using a penis as a 'cure' for lesbianism - is still practiced in many parts of the world and I don't think it should be acceptable here.
