The narcissism of this is breathtaking. Responses are pretty unanimous, people do not appreciate being dictated to and there is mention of coercive control as a form of abuse. How does this seem reasonable to the NB posting?

I found the replies very encouraging. What a massive change compared with this time last year.

I predict that a lot of the self serving politicians who were happy to sell out women and children on the sly will start doing some serious back pedalling once they see that the tide has turned. The #nodebate silencing and shunning strategy has failed, and information is leaking out to the general voting public.

This rhetoric is part of the whole 'trans are sacred' command. Trans people are not gods, and I don't have a job (or a calling) to centre them in any part of my life.

So if you get it wrong don't apologise because that then makes it the trans person's responsibility to make you feel better.

My cynical side wonders if the tone has changed because the TRA have blocked everyone who hasn't drunk the koolaid and just aren't there to pile on.

Why are you looking at this stuff? People may genuinely want to know how to deal with someone in their life who changes gender. This video strikes me as a useful piece of information. And I do get the debate on woman's spaces, sport etc, I just don't see that this fits into that debate.
