How to treat trans people.

The narcissism of this is breathtaking. Responses are pretty unanimous, people do not appreciate being dictated to and there is mention of coercive control as a form of abuse. How does this seem reasonable to the NB posting?

I think it’s a new tribe, consisting of goady, bullying, woman-hating men and kinks

They seem to love lesbians though. Until they can't find one who wants a penis inside them, so they add lesbians to the list of "women we hate".

LordProfFekkoThePenguinPhD · 19/08/2019 11:59

Oh they don’t like woman lesbians. Not sure if they are keen on dating the ‘men’ ones either...

Michelleoftheresistance · 19/08/2019 13:21

I honestly suspect if you said "oooh I'm a lesbian and I love dick, let's do it!" they'd be turned off on the spot.

The whole point of so much of this muppetry is the forcing of people to do something against their will, that makes them uncomfortable, that wins against their boundaries. It's all about the power and superior entitlement. 'I can make you do this', and the other person not wanting to adds to the thrill.

JY exemplifies this. The incel movement fantasises about this. If these people weren't using the TRA narrative, how far would they get as male presenting males propositioning women? Or demanding sex? And special treatment?

Michelleoftheresistance · 19/08/2019 13:24

It's also the age old tedium of the lesbian fantasy common among men: "You were lesbian and hated cock until you experienced mine , and I 'turned' you"

homophobia
misogyny
women not equally human
women's feeings and choices all nonsense
sex all about the thrill of the menz
sex without penis isn't sex
yada yada yada

Help, I really can't decide if this twitter account is a parody now. Surely no one can post this with a comment about inherent dignity and be serious. Or can they, I really can't decide.

But I think it was the tone and choice of words, rather than the actual content.

Um. It's a video of someone talking. Maybe ask him to make his points using a different tone and different words?

testing987654321 · 19/08/2019 15:00

Just watched that tweet teddy, looks like a piss-take to me.

picklemepopcorn · 19/08/2019 15:15

That's actually terribly scary. Seriously, there's the classic 'mad staring eyes' thing going on. I don't care about the lipstick, stubble, and I tuned out the message but the look may well give me nightmares tonight.

AtLeastMyDogLovesMe · 19/08/2019 15:28

"Centre the trans person" Grin Grin Grin I'll decide who I centre in any given situation thanks.

If there’s going to be a ‘ how to treat middle aged women ‘ dictum, I’ll have an egg custard tart.

I really fancy a date slice. Someone on here once posted for a recipe, with the most wonderful description of what's great about a date slice - that it's kinda boring, uninspiring, and won't get you over-excited, but is still a pleasant cake (plus it keeps you regular), but she said it much, much better.

butteryellow · 19/08/2019 17:01

Found it. Sorry, no-one else is probably interested, but this is the internet so it's not like I'm wasting paper printing it out.

Every description from the OP is fantastic. I feel everything she's saying.

Thank you for that. What a brilliant thread and I totally get it too. Sometimes I want food that's not hard work. Discernible and enjoyable flavours and textures without demanding to become a talking point. The OP had a great way with words.
