Also, notice this person's antifa references in their profile. I have been thinking for a while that antifa and TRAs are interconnected since their tactics of aggression, silencing, no debate, bullying, threats, bandana face hiding whilst intimidating people and violence are the same.

There is a definite overlap (see the thread on Jenn Smith being chased by people with a net, which is something antifa activists have done in the past). Also overlaps with the anarchist movement. This is why I couldn’t understand why Maria Miller et. al. were so willing to accede to their demands - in what other circumstances would you ever see the Tories basing policy on what antifa and anarchists want?

2BthatUnnoticed · 09/08/2019 06:56

Many women, including me, would have left even without the sword.

The sword-bearer later joked about women feeling scared by hearing him urinate... whose mind even goes there?

His friend’s response was awful - “silly hysterical woman!” And saying her calmly leaving was her “freaking out.”

Sophocles, identify as to show us wimmin how to be proper laydees.

SunsetBeetch · 09/08/2019 07:10

This person is rather obsessed with weapons.

The only acceptable time to take a sword to the toilet is at a LARP event where everyone has swords and you don’t want anyone stealing your magic items.

This dude evidently is LARPing in more ways than one, but in entirely the wrong environment.

Because of the hobbies I do I know a lot of men who collect or are otherwise into weapons. The knife guys are always the creeps.

TheTitOfTheIceberg · 09/08/2019 07:20

And of course because the majority of replies called him out on his entitled behaviour, he posted again to say he’d had to mute the thread for his “mental health”.

Not a second’s thought for the mental health of the woman who went into her toilets to be confronted by a man in a dress holding a fucking sword. Because wah wah, someone didn’t validate his identity, obviously he literally died.

Fucking misogynistic twatweasel.

FormerMediocreMale · 09/08/2019 08:26

Nasty, entitled, mysoginist. If i saw a male with a rapier in the ladies the last thing i'd be doing is validating the bastard.

I hope the company does something about him. Even if he does not work for them, if the incident took place in toilets used by their female staff and clients thats not a good look and they need to take action.

RoyalCorgi · 09/08/2019 08:28

If I went into the women's toilets and saw a man in a dress holding a sword, I'd be terrified. I'd be out of there like a flash. Is this person really so stupid that they don't understand how scary they are? Or do they just enjoy frightening women? Because, quite frankly, it makes your claim that you are really a woman inside a whole less convincing if you get your kicks from going around making women scared.

Alltheprettyseahorses · 09/08/2019 08:37

Why is that violent, threatening, dangerous man still walking the streets when he should be in a cell? And why did security allow him into the building when he was carrying a sword? WTF!

Birdsfoottrefoil · 09/08/2019 08:38

Or do they just enjoy frightening women?

Yes

SarahTancredi · 09/08/2019 08:40

Hang on, the picture says he/him

So does he even think hes a woman or what?

Entitled bastard. I doubt even a man would hang around in a small place with a sword wielding person. But no let's make the women out to he the bad guys here Hmm

DpWm · 09/08/2019 08:40

Taking a knife collection to Pride??
Wtaf is wrong with these people?

Pride is supposed to be family friendly. Not a space for heterosexual males to stab people Confused

(I understand this person in a dress is attracted to females sexually, but who knows they could be bi I don't care that much actually, still shouldn't be bringing knives).

zebrasdontwearbras · 09/08/2019 08:42

God almighty - someone who photographs knives like that - someone who puts jam (??) on a knife - well, they're suffering from dangerous fantasies, aren't they. Fantasising about using that weapon.

Combine that with being a male, with a massive chip on the shoulder about not being female, and seeing women (who will likely be afraid of them) as the enemy - well, I predict disastrous consequences. I'd wager almost any woman - confronted by the person in that photo - standing like that, with a weapon, in the women's loos, would be scared - and to this male, that fear is an offence to them, taken personally.

They've locked their twitter account now. Although I doubt that's because they think they've done anything wrong, or worrying to others.

This person is reminding of "TownTattle" who violently attacked Julie Bindel. These males tell us who they are all the time - males with violent fantasies against women who won't (can't!) validate their gender identity.

DpWm · 09/08/2019 08:43

Why on earth bring a knife collection to Pride?
Sorry I'm still shocked.

It's like, so you want to scare people, freak them out, you see that as an achievement, most people would properly condemn that, but you stick a dress on and suddenly you're a stunning and brave victim, people who respond to you normally are hysterical bigots who deserve to diaf, and anyone calling the frankly fucked up behaviour is blocked or banned on social media.

I fucking despair.

KettlePolly · 09/08/2019 08:48

I don't think the sword pic is the same post as their toilet brag post. So I am not sure it's correct to say they took the sword into the toilet.

It's a horrible tweet regardless, and their inability to see why it is misogynist is telling.

ErrolTheDragon · 09/08/2019 08:49

I think he may think he's being funny with the jammy knife.

Trouble is, women don't tend to find jokes about knives very funny.
Doubtless his foil wasn't actually dangerous because it had a knob on the end ... well, one on both ends.

I like his dress, it's nice he can wear it to work. He can as 'feminine' or gender nonconforming as he wants. Just stay the fuck out of space needed by women.

Lordamighty · 09/08/2019 08:56

Bragging about taking your knife collection to pride, FFS the police should be having a word with this person before someone gets stabbed.

truthisarevolutionaryact · 09/08/2019 08:56

KettlePolly
See the first picture in the OP - sword in hand!

TurboTeddy · 09/08/2019 08:57

Does any actual woman take pride in frightening people? It's concerning that this individual can't tell the difference between transphobia and weaponsphobia. If I'd seen that in the women's loos I'd have been out of there like an Olympic sprinter.

Are TRA's increasingly desperate to silence women or emboldened by lack of consequences? Either way the whole movement feels increasingly dangerous.

LizzieSiddal · 09/08/2019 08:58

Has anyone reported him to the police?

lightlypoached · 09/08/2019 09:02

I came on this thread expecting it to be about a 'pork sword' in the toilets.

Blimey.

Wishihad · 09/08/2019 09:08

The fact that TW dont understand why women dont want to share a bathroom with them (with or without a sword) just shows the male privilege that they have. They arent women. They dont understand what it's like to grow up, being afraid of being on their own in a vulnerable space when a member of the opposite sex is there.

Besides which, they want to use the womens bathrooms, because they feel unsafe using a bathroom with people who have penises. So women have to share a bathroom, with people with penises. It makes no fucking sense and no TRA has ever been able to answer why, Trans people not wanting to share bathrooms with people with penises, is more important than women not wanting to do that.

This whole thing is making me feel shit.

And pride organisers need to step the fuck up. Things that are going on at pride is not acceptable. People showing off their knife collection they are taking or have taken. Allowing people to play out their fetish with children, chasing people with nets, allowing lesbians who dont go along with 'trans women are lesbians' to be shouted at and intimidated.

Pride is becoming a disgrace and there is going to be some massive incident that will ruin the whole thing. At which point some anti gay dickheads, will use it as proof all gay people are dangerous.

I dont get how pride dont understand they will end up doing more harm than good for the gay community, if they dont put a stop to thos sort of shit.

@MargotsFlounceyBlouse it does appear that the scarimg woman incident was seperate to the toilet photos with the sword. Not sure if he had the sword on the womens or mens.

Still begs the question. Why the fuck did he have any sword in any toilet at all? And how is it ok, to put this behaviour on twitter, admit to it and go about your life.

Lets assume the sword was in the mens bathroom, Knowing lives his knives and often carried them, would you be happy with him in the mens toilets, with your son in there. Does it really matter which bathroom he had it in?

Firstly having a man at all in the bathroom is intimidating for women. A man in any bathroom with a sword is intimidating.
