thatwouldbe the pessimist in me says they absolutely have, they just hope that no one notices because it's unfathomable.

I haven't heard back from my email to the journalist and can't do much more now as away on holiday, but will try ringing them early next week.

I wonder if there will be an increased number of discrimination court cases due to this. My DS had a summer job helping disabled children at a summer camp. This meant he helped them go to the toilet etc, and was only allowed to help the boys.

He went through a long application process for this job, the final stage was a face to face interview. A transgender person may have fulfilled all the requirements on paper but then failed at interview as the interviewer would have foreseen child protection complications. What will happen now with the implications of a new legal sex?

Well that would be illegal discrimination under the Equality Act though.

raisins won’t it still go by bio sex though? So a TW would be assisting boys with toileting, and a TM would be assisting girls.

No it wouldnt temporary as even if a person has a grc they can be excluded. Personal care would be a valid reason for using bio sex.

Yes, I have now contacted one individual journalist and two prominent newspapers (by email) and still haven’t heard back. I assume they check their emails very frequently, and respond pretty quickly to anything they want to investigate, so not feeling too hopeful.
