Convicted paedophile lusts over Desmond (the amazing one) [trigger warning for obvious reasons]

Tom O'Carroll, former chair of PIE, has written a piece saying how sexy he finds Desmond. I note that our old friend Peter Tatchell is tagged too.

But of course there's nothing wrong or weird with a kid dressing up and dancing in gay clubs. Hmm

At least he's not pretending it's not sexualising childhood I suppose

At least some people know the names & hopefully are watching. twitter.com/MarkWatts_1/status/

This Never Happens.

calpop · 16/06/2019 20:39

Do you think they are lying about his age for some weird reason? he seems about 7 or 8 in that video with Michael Alig.

Outofinspiration · 16/06/2019 20:51

The thing is as well is that his parents just dont seem bothered that because of what he does and how he presents, a child like Desmond is a paedophiles dream. Even if they are ensuring that he is directly protected completely from anything at all inappropriate (and I'm sorry but I don't believe this just from what I have seen with my own eyes), do they not think that the way he dresses, the makeup, the dancing would make him a target for people who are predatory?

Like, some parents are funny about putting any photos online at all, because what if a paedophile gets hold of them and even looks at them?

If Desmond's parents saw that blog they would probably publicly say 'yes that's awful but there will always be predators and we protect Desmond from anything like that' but wouldn't actually be bothered that it had come about in the first place?

The video dates from 2017, when Desmond was about 10. Maybe it's the lifestyle that keeps him looking so young... Angry

ByGrabtharsHammarWhatASaving · 16/06/2019 21:11

Desmond's older sister talks about the mum not giving her enough to eat, so I imagine that's why he's so thin (which probably makes him look younger).

ByGrabtharsHammarWhatASaving · 16/06/2019 21:13

Screen shots from the sister are on the KF thread, pg 68 btw. I don't think we're allowed to post KF links.

SmallHaddockAndChips · 16/06/2019 21:17

What is this KF thing that keeps being mentioned?

GrumpyGran8 · 16/06/2019 21:18

I am starting to say the same regarding drag in some instances; eg drag queen story time. Would the librarian dress as they do to read a story? Quelle point?
I believe the Houston Library's excuse of Drag Queen Story Time was to introduce the children to adults who were being 'alternative'. So why the bleep couldn't they get in firewomen, male nurses, policewomen, anybody at all doing work not normally associated with their gender? Why drag queens, which small children are never likely to encounter? Or if they just wanted people in weird makeup and costumes, they could have found some clowns!

OrchidInTheSun · 16/06/2019 21:20

KF = KiwiFarms

Kiwi farms

littlbrowndog · 16/06/2019 21:25

Clowns are scary. As are drag queens
At what point does a kid have to be introduced to drag queens.

Ffs I never even seen one in real life cos they don’t show up in most ppls lives unless u go to a show
Why do kids have to be shown them. It’s all bizarre stuff

GrumpyGran8 · 16/06/2019 21:26

Desmond's older sister talks about the mum not giving her enough to eat, so I imagine that's why he's so thin (which probably makes him look younger). Long term, chronic starvation stunts growth and delays puberty (children with digestive diseases such as coeliac disease often mature late).
But got to keep him looking young for the customers....

Birdsfoottrefoil · 16/06/2019 21:26

Yes the piece in the OP is awful but is it any more than putting in writing what many/most of the men in that bar would have been thinking? An honest assessment where others have been pretending is just a kid dancing. THIS is why Desmond is a vulnerable abused kid. THIS is what Desmond is Amazing is all about - paedophilia. Any everyone should stop pretending otherwise.

Birdsfoottrefoil · 16/06/2019 21:29

Just thinking about the parents though. Autism has a very large genetic component - it is likely that his parents are vulnerable adults too.

calpop · 16/06/2019 22:59

I've just read the entire KF thread on Desmond. Coincidentally I watched the Netflix film "I am Mother" today as well. I think the robot AI may have had a point.

It feels like so many children are being failed.

calpop · 16/06/2019 23:50

He's 9m older than my son but looks and acts about 3/4 years younger - playing with the same trains he stopped playing with years ago. He also cannot dance or act/perform any where near as well as my son and his friends can. And yet he is feted as an amazing performer. The agenda behind this is so, so, so disturbing (and the parenting).

LassOfFyvie · 17/06/2019 01:29

He also cannot dance or act/perform any where near as well as my son and his friends can

I mentioned that on another thread. The truth is, as a child performer, Desmond is very far from "amazing"

OrangeCinnamon · 17/06/2019 04:24

This is so.disturbing Angry

NotBadConsidering · 17/06/2019 04:32

This makes be so angry. If I took my 12 year old DD down to the local Spearmint Rhino and got her to dance for money, I would rightly be arrested, questioned, have social services involved etc etc. The reason I don’t do this is because I am not completely deranged.

As Janice Turner said, the rainbow flag is not a fig leaf.

2BthatUnnoticed · 17/06/2019 06:09

Sorry, on my phone so can only screenshot not link. But I saw this clip of Julia Long questioning MB about Desmond performing for adult men who threw money at him.

It’s scary. Julia was booed and ultimately asked to leave for asking this question. MB just said “kids should be encouraged to do whatever they want to do,” to loud applause.

Nobody sees the safeguarding issue. I remember (20 years ago or more?) a similar conversation around some young boys who spent time with Michael Jackson.

Everyone who raised concerns back then were shamed, called prudes and bullied into silence.

”kids should be encouraged to do whatever they want to do,” the defence of many a paedophile I believe.

PencilsInSpace · 17/06/2019 08:31

Julia Long clip

SarahTancredi · 17/06/2019 08:42

Its unbelievable to think that apparently its us who are the problem HmmAngry

That audience are afraid to even stop and think for a second.

I bet every single one of them has uttered or thought the phrase " what are they doing out this late" when confronted by kids in a restaurant at 9/10 o clock or when the neighbours kids are still playing outside in the dark on a school night

But this...this is fine. Hmm

3am. Not a problem. Boo off anyone who thinks kids dancing in a nightclub even borders on inappropriate.

2BthatUnnoticed · 17/06/2019 09:14

The question was discouraged because “this is a safe space.” Confused
