I don't think white being in a women's prison helped 'promote positivity' for the other prisoners, especially not the ones White abused.

There are men whom society believes to be a serious risk to women and children. Their offences are so serious that their names have been placed on one of the Registers - eg sex offenders, and those who have been convicted/cautioned for violent offences against intimate female partners. The registers are there to reduce the risk of reoffending and gaining access to women and children.

None of those men should be eligible for a GRC. That includes Karen White, Ian Huntley, Krystal Knight, Carrie Cooper, Jacinta Brooks, Stacey Poole (a former police officer), and the rest.

Funny that the brilliant minds who wrote the original GRA of 2004 thought to include an exception so the right of male primogeniture for titles & property would not be affected, but they didn't see fit to exclude convicted male sex offenders who've violently abused women & children from being able to claim trans status & get a GRC giving them legal status as (a form of) women.
