A twitter account is saying that stickers in Manchester Oxford Road station have razor blades behind them put there by TERFS. If you are terfblocked you won't be able to view.

Surprise surprise, BTP when asked have said nothing was found, no stickers or reports or anything. It was indeed bullshit. Be nice to get an official statement from them though.

What the hell is wrong with Jess Bradley for tweeting about this when they are under investigation? Madness

I wonder how many TW toilet cleaners there are?

arranfan · 08/09/2018 16:27

Via Phillipa Black (I can't believe she has so few Twitter followers), I clicked and came to this remarkable thread:

twitter.com/JammersMinde/status/1038149194974982144

Have a look at the visual - but do entertain yourself with some of the comments. I particularly enjoyed, the enquiries about whether the stickers would adhere to bricks (asking for a friend) and the joyous enquiry

Is this advocating stoning? So progressive, so stunning so brave

HamsterToast · 08/09/2018 16:28

Does anyone have the screenshot of the tweet where BTP say they will look into it?

Bizarrely, HamsterToast - tho' I can see where a number of people in the OP' screen shot's comment thread have @'d in BTP, Manchester Police, the train operators, station operators etc. - I've failing to see responses but I haven't read the comments with my full attention.

Hamster.

I've done a screen shot of the original and the response.

Several people have asked if any were found, but it seems the whole of the BTP are either busy icing a cake or cakes, or cannot use a keyboard any more due to all losing the ends of their fingers in the removal of the razor blades. [That is sarcasm by the way].

Ah - I was looking at the @ BTP - thanks ShrodingersSturdyPyjamas - I should have realised I needed to look at the more local BTP!

Ooh — i’m Twitter famous!

GMP are hilariously funny on twitter so they might respond to a tweet (although it was GM BTP who checked out Oxford Rd St on Wednesday evening).

Transport for Greater Manchester might respond to a query, too, or Northern Rail.

I thought about asking the station man if I could make a video of him (or even just have his name) but I didn’t want to risk unleashing the wrath of Tralala Twitter onto a nice man who was just minding his own business, responding to a public query in the workplace.

Bless.

Calling teenagers out for telling fibs is what we do.

‘Some women are mums, get over it’

😂

I think Oxford Rd Station is in Lucy Powell’s constituency- anyone live there and fancy asking their MP to get BTP to make a public statement?

Icantreachthepretzels · 08/09/2018 21:33

Is the person who describes Mumsnet as 'a hive of mums and villainy' being satirical? ... I don't think anyone else on the thread is. But no one can have posted that and not been joking!

Also someone tells Erin they are a 'heroin'. I don't think that's the kind they meant...

I notice that Erin is no longer 'the broccoli girl' they are simply Erin: Fuck off Mumsnet twats Grin Grin ouch! we really upset them by not believing their utter bollocks totally true story about their close shave Grin with a hidden razor blade.

Congratulations Toolshed

ChiaraRimini · 08/09/2018 21:36

Erin has had time to change Twitter handle but not provide any photos of the razor stickers.
Erin needs to leave social media until he has got a grip and learnt to stop lying.

FloralBunting · 08/09/2018 21:42

The 'hive of mums and villainy' comment is either an undercover GC tweeter having a sly dig, or a rather delicious new name change option. I do like an oblique Star Wars reference.

That twitter thread!

What's mumsnet said Lily (she/her), uncertainly
Ayylon Lmaosk stopped tugging at a loose hem on their nan-knitted anime avatar cardigan and spat: a hive of mums and villainy

the TERFS are right. There are no genders. There are two exes and they are mumsnet and the bodybuilding forums
Praise where praise is due, this is very funny. I

Congrats toolshed

TheCountessofFitzdotterel · 08/09/2018 21:47

I don't think the other sex is the bodybuilding forum though, that's wishful thinking. I think it's Pistonheads Sad

Turph · 08/09/2018 21:52

Pistonheads is much more interesting than bodybuilding. I don't rate their Shed of the Week very often though.

Alicethroughtheblackmirror · 08/09/2018 21:55

Wow, thank you Erin and chums. We really are evil witches women. We should be spending every waking hour tending to our children and menfolk like Coventry Patmore told us.

But, um, hang on. If you're all 'real' women shouldn't you be selflessly dedicating your life to someone too instead of being on Twitter?

What's that? You're not mothers? Well why would that be...?

Turph · 08/09/2018 22:04

To be fair Alice neither am I
