I thought CPs wouldn’t take it, hence the private prosecution?

Apparently it's going to be adjourned till Nov 30th.

Anyone can take out a private prosecution but the CPS/DPP has the right to take over, and can then decide whether to pursue.

What does 'flipped back to cps' mean? In legal terms - does it mean the judge thinks the cps should take it over? Or dismiss it out of hand?

Obviously it should be the latter one.

Does that mean the CPS could decide not to pursue? Why would it have been flipped back to them?

What a bummer that it wasn't just kicked out. Good about the t-shirt though. 30th November is a Friday. Would hope to be able to go if that's the date.

Ignore my last post, I was wrong as others said it is going back to cps.

CPS aren’t going to think prosecuting a pensioner for saying some words is a good use of the public purse. They didn’t last time they were asked, and if anything, the tide is now with women, not against us.

You'd hope so Betty bit we are living in strange fucked up times when fact is hate.

I’m curious: at what point will they have grounds for a counter claim of malicious harassment? This case was utterly spurious; theirs will not be.
