Thank you for the clarification of the action brought against you, lecanardnoir123

I would guess the best bet is to get the CPS involved as soon as possible to try to squash it.

I'm amazed this hasn't happened and this trial is still going ahead. I can't imagine Linda and Venice have not tried this. They are probably very limited in what they can say about it.

AsAProfessionalFekko · 23/09/2018 22:42

Anyone who will be there - please record what happens.

I hope there won't be the usual suspects screaming/swooning in agony at the literal violence of truth/wee guided not knowing what the hell they are doing there but turned out because Big Betty at the SU told them that Bad Women are literally trying the kill them/ male thugs in frocks.

OnlyObjectivity · 23/09/2018 23:16

Have either of them commented on what their strategy will be if asked to refer to the plaintiff as "She"?

Personally I'd say I was willing to do so, but would need to renounce my oath first.

DuckingGoodPJs · 24/09/2018 02:06

Best of luck to everyone, esp Linda and Venice of course.

MsJeminaPuddleduck · 24/09/2018 23:51

I'd like to come but can't get there until 10.30am - does anyone know how long people might be there for? Also would need to bring toddler so was thinking of just lurking on the sidelines so to speak.

sawdustformypony · 25/09/2018 06:54

I’d have thought the clerk would want it dealt with quite quickly so they’ll enter their plea and then adjourn it for a trial management hearing - 5 mins tops ? Or maybe the CPS will step in at that point and maybe adjourned to allow for review - still 5 mins top. I think by 10:30 you’ll have missed it for that day

MsJeminaPuddleduck · 25/09/2018 07:21

Ok thanks - that's really helpful

arranfan · 25/09/2018 09:07

MsJeminaPuddleduck I can't get there for 09:30 either but it's been said that we'll move on somewhere for tea/whatever and networking/socialising.

LittleLebowski · 25/09/2018 10:03

I am going to try and be there for 9 and do some sort of sign today. Happy to PM anyone (have you already in mind arran) if it looks like no one will be staying by the magistrates court. I've no idea if that area is not suitable for a lot of people to hang around or not.

silentcrow · 25/09/2018 10:28

Good luck to you all - keep us updated if you can!

BreakWindandFire · 25/09/2018 13:54

I'm in - I can get there for 930 but not any earlier.

BitterAndOnlySlightlyTwisted · 25/09/2018 14:10

I'll be there as I'm playing hooky from work especially. My employer knows why, too.

Needmoresleep · 25/09/2018 18:55

Bump. Looking forward to meeting others.

ShowOfHands · 25/09/2018 19:05

I'll be there in spirit. Wish I could be there in person.

GingerbreadAndTigers · 25/09/2018 21:05

How many people are you expecting to be there to support Linda and Venice?

Candidpeel · 25/09/2018 21:06

I'll be there. I'm baking oat cookies 😀

pombear · 25/09/2018 21:10

Ginger I appreciate you may have changed your posting name recently for any number of reasons - but I'm sure you'll also appreciate, if you're a longterm poster, that that's a bit of an 'off' question' to ask if you don't have posting history attached to your name right now.

The phrase 'read the room' might be a good one to adopt right now?

People may not want to share with an apparent 'new' poster that sort of information, even though you may have been here for ages under another name?
