This is a situation that is so horrific, you couldn't make it up. Nobody would believe it. Yet it's happening.

If one is a transwoman then surely an announcement stating 'ladies & gentlemen' can be felt affirming and inclusive?

It's about coalition politics with the non-binary snowflakes, who would feel excluded by "ladies and gentlemen".

And yet lots of (not all, but plenty) have been saying for ages that the term "ladies" is iffy.

Same with the whole use the name I say thing, women have been called the wrong name/ renamed etc by all sorts of orgs and when we said this is out of order we were told it was trivial and shut up etc etc
