Just thinking ahead to mid September when a phase 2 might kick in when I'll be flat out and unable to join in.
So I've made these now (download away, the original pdf is massive though will take time, the images download much quicker) in case they come in handy.
The idea is that the design, tone and quotes combine to be memorable to those who didn't know their (or their mum's, daughter's, wife's, girlfriend's) group had had its boundaries redrawn quite this far, quite so unequivocally. With none of the original ring fencing supported by any of the political class. With celebration (rather than protest)fast becoming the only socially acceptable, or permitted response to that.
I'm on an iPad and despite converting everything to universal file formats I have had issues with my print shop when it comes to sizing in the past. Plus there are limits on an iPad in terms of choosing resolution etc. I think I've got the margins right, and I've selected highest resolution every time I had the option.
But
If you want to print any of these I strongly recommend you
1- Always Print Preview and click the "fit to page", landscape option (or something like that, I usually flap vaguely at my printer lady and she does the technical bits) then double check on print preview again.
2- Do a 1 page dummy run in B&W, to check that the sizing and the readability works. Not all printers are as crisp, not all paper avoids the fuzzies, I haven't been able to do a print run (My printer has gone to the seaside with her new baby and is closed for August) so while it looks fine on the screen, don't know how it'll look on paper.
There are big single ones on A4, doubles on A4, Quads on A4 and 9 minicards/bookmarks on A4. I've duplicated images where needed to avoid blank spaces.
And there is the massive, massive, huge, slow to download PDF for people with the patience of several saints.
If any good, download, share freely and come up with cunning plans as per how to use them best when Phase 2 hits. If not, never mind, at least I found something to distract me on a very boring, far too hot day. And I finally got to grips with one of my new apps, so will now be able to use it for work without going at the speed of a snail with a hangover.
