The Ministry of Female says....

BoreOfWhabylon · 09/08/2018 20:38

Fox Fisher ... we don’t have the same resources as many of the anti-trans bigots and access to the media as they do and these are one of the only ways we can raise awareness.

Good grief. They must know they are lying.

dontbringmedown · 09/08/2018 20:40

That's like printing stickers pointing out that the Pope is Catholic or bears shit in the woods.

I love the way they're having a go a people for pointing out
THE TRUTH,

which is

WOMEN DON'T HAVE PENISES.

You can't change science and biology to suit to make yourselves feel better .
Wanna wear a frock and lippy? Crack on. It's not hurting anyone.

But, Women don't have penises.

LangCleg · 09/08/2018 20:41

Angela C Wild is a woman after my own heart.

sar501 · 09/08/2018 20:43

It’s not bigotry. It’s the truth.

ChattyLion · 09/08/2018 20:47

Eye-rolling so hard at physical reality being ’vile’ ...

Penis News journalists really do need to get out more.

SlightAggrandising · 09/08/2018 20:48

jasmine behave. Don't be ridiculous.

CesiraAndEnrico · 09/08/2018 20:49

I think Pink News might have made sticker printing companies' future profit margins look more cheerful.

It doesn't even need a protest attracting meeting place to organise.

People can just knock up a similar design, order a small run, and pop them up as they pootle about town/the country.

They don't need to keep TPTB at twitter, youtube, google, facebook etc happy and can say exactly what they want.

There is no time limit in the way there is with an event. It can be an rolling snowball, organically picking up more and more mass, for as long as it likes.

Posters might be fun to make a grand gesture of tearing down, but stickers are just a frustrating pick pick pick to get off and nobody can pull off looking like a Glamorous Gender Gladiator doing it. So less motivation to keep on doggedly removing them.

The public will look, talk about and remember them, cos it has the "well duh ... oh.. right I get it!" factor.

It's so simple and so very, very clever all at the same time.

ArcheryAnnie · 09/08/2018 20:54

I think Fox Fisher is sitting in a glass house throwing stones when Fox accuses gender-critical women of describing trans people as "perverts". This is the activist who, in a vlog for Mermaids, said the T should be taken out of the LGBT because Fox did not want trans people associated with "a deviant kind of thing".

tldr: Fox Fisher is a massive hypocrite.

FloralBunting · 09/08/2018 20:55

I'm still laughing at Pink News thinking that by drawing attention to a small sticker that states a fact only a small group of silly people dispute is going to have everyone else riled up over the bigotry.

StepBackNow · 09/08/2018 20:55

If anyone hears where we can get them I'd like to know.

BettyDuMonde · 09/08/2018 20:57

Tried to find the source of the stickers (because, a-hem, Manchester might look nice with a few) and instead, Aunty Google give me this:

'Disgusting phallus shaped stickers'

I would argue that flashing one's actual phallus in public like a famous TRA was a shade more 'disgusting' than a willy-shaped sticker.

WaddIelikeapenguin · 09/08/2018 21:04

Bore lying or DARVO?

Angela C Wild i would very much like to buy you a drink 🍻🍾🍹

FloralBunting · 09/08/2018 21:04

'disgusting phallus shaped stickers'

Grin

Honestly, this level of loathing towards the male member is as convincing as my kids saying they would never steal sweets.

'Me? Steal disgusting sweets? Never!'

Seriously PN, the pearl clutching tone is a sight to behold. This has been a highlight of my evening.

WhereDoWeBeginToCovetClarice · 09/08/2018 21:08

Lol

AccioWine · 09/08/2018 21:13

Surely an own goal to draw more attention to it?

IAmLurkacus · 09/08/2018 21:15

Seriously where do I buy these? I’m not doing much atm the summer holidays has ground my letter/email writing to a halt. I can certainly slap stickers all over Loos with a high volume of women/children passing through though!

LonginesPrime · 09/08/2018 21:19

'disgusting phallus shaped stickers'

It does make it sound like the penises are what's disgusting - it repeats that phrase several times too.

annandale · 09/08/2018 21:19

I certainly find that people with preferential access to the media use stickers as their ideal method of communication. Not.

Quite seriously, I am suspicious of campaigns that don't name the originating organisation - it sounds as if these stickers don't have a name on them, and the twitter account is a sock puppet.

drinkswineoutofamug · 09/08/2018 21:19

Angela c wild has an online shop on Etsy called wildwomynworkshop , she's taking a break at the mo

drinkswineoutofamug · 09/08/2018 21:20

If it's the same person

FermatsTheorem · 09/08/2018 21:20

Mugs and fridge magnets... yes please!

Dhalandchips · 09/08/2018 21:20

Ok, don't beat me up here, this is a genuine question because I REALLY can't get my head around this whole thing... I have a two friends who were born with penises but they have undergone lots of drug therapy and surgery to remove their male-ness and penises, they've had breasts implanted and now live as females. I don't know what they are...I'm genuinely confused but as I met them both post op, I've assumed they're just tall, big footed and handed women. Sorry if this a bit derailing but it's been spinning around in my head for ages. My logical brain says "they're men who have had bits lopped off and other bits added" but my emotional part says they've come through something traumatic with bravery and a sense of humour. I'm baffled by the whole thing. For context, I'm generally very laid back and liberal about life!

YessicaHaircut · 09/08/2018 21:24

Thanks for sharing OP, and if anyone finds out where I can get my hands on some of those stickers, give me a heads up!
