No mention of sex, no mention of impact on any stakeholders, all leading questions, and horrible clear intention to filter.

This will affect the wonderful space at Hampstead Ponds so I urge you all to complete it. I will be speaking to the Corporation about its clear bias and lack of adherence to guidelines.

Regarding making a complaint, someone on Twitter did a thorough analysis of where and how the survey is in breach of the city of London’s rules:

@cityoflondon @citylordmayor : 1) I cannot see your ‘public consultation on gender identity’ on your ‘Public Consultations’ webpage or anywhere else on your website. Why is it only being made available via Twitter? This is a clear violation of due process. @sadiqkhan @lgacomms

Especially since the Chair of your consultation ‘blocks’ feminists/women he disagrees with on Twitter - thereby excluding them from the political process.

Para 2.23 refers to publishing public consultations on your website. Para 2.24 says you will ‘make information accessible to all members of society in such a way as to meet the requirements of the Equality Act 2010’. I suggest that the Chair of the consultation ...

... blocking women on Twitter, whilst Twitter is currently the only means by which you are disseminating information about this consultation, constitutes a violation of para 2.24 vis-a-vis the Equality Act’s protected characteristic of ‘sex’.

3. In line with your statement at para 2.56 et seq regarding ‘Integrated Impact Assessment’ and in particular para 2.60 ‘Equalities Impact Assessment’ - please can you direct me to your pre-consultation Equalities Impact Assessment for this gender identity public consultation?

Please can I also point out to you that at para 2.60 you illegally replace the Equality Act 2010 protected characteristic of ‘sex’ with the term ‘gender’, which has no protection under the Equality Act.

4. As a public authority, you must adhere to the Public Sector Equality Duty under s149 of the Equality Act 2010, with regard to those who have a ‘protected characteristic’ under the Act, one of which is ‘sex’.

As your consultation and questionnaire refer to the undefined term ‘gender’, not ‘sex’, please explain how this consultation adheres to the PSED.
Also please explain what PSED assessment you have done in relation to the implementation of policies as a result of this consultation

I think that says it all. No one ever thinks about the impact on people other than trans people.

Forget about the impact of Brexit. If people running the City are so thick that they can't recognise a loaded survey, then what hope have we for the future of financial services.

And since when did these stuck up, arrogant guild members, feel able to completely ignore the needs of women, including those who dont have their priviledge. Would they feel happy for their teenage daughters to share public toilets and changing rooms with random men who have chosen to self-declare as women, perhaps at quiet times of the day, and with inadequet security. I think not. They should be ashamed at their chauvanism/misogeny.
