So I am on this published blocklist. In good company with Julie Bindell et al, but still, I'm so angry. I've never tweeted Lily, so it is a mystery. I follow women's place and a lot of Rad fems, so it must be that? Anyone else on it? What should we do? I am totally shocked that this can be sanctioned by the party. That's my vote lost forever. Hell will freeze over before I vote Labour again.

Rispiridone is an atypical antipsychotic - it was originally marketed for schizophrenia etc but is also used for depression, anxiety, bipolar and some behavioural issues. It’s certainly not an indication that a person has been diagnosed with schizophrenia.

Self diagnosis remains extremely dangerous ofc. I’m also slightly disturbed that someone would think that putting part of their medical records or prescribing history online is a good way.

Clearly lily has a host of issues and is quite vulnerable - although perhaps not in the way they are claiming to be online. If they were my child or family member I would be encouraging them to step away from the web and seek some treatment. It all seems very self destructive

What’s interesting about that tweet Olennas is that when someone mentions the medication is for schizophrenia another user points out that it’s prescribed in low doses for depression.

Whatever the case either we have a young person with a serious mental health condition who is being allowed to place themselves in a vulnerable position by a major political party. Or we have a pathological liar. Neither are a good look.

my son (a momentum member) came home late other night and started bragging about it. They have an office in east London that they call the "bro-zone". They spend all day on their various accounts, liking tweets and writing utter nonsense.

I’m not sure if it’s currently been changed but risperidone didn’t actuallyvused to be used for under 18s for schizophrenia anyway. It’s also not typical to be diagnosed with schz so young as to be at school - in males it’s usually starting to present later teens/20s (in females slightly later.) it’s not common to get a diagnosis during school years at all.

As annoying and misguided as lily is, part of me feels a bit squeamish at how they are being allowed to behave like this in such a public way. I cannot imagine having a social media profile like this and expecting prospective employers to overlook it - it shows serious instability, lack of judgement etc. I wonder how much thought some of these younger tweeters (twitterers?) give to how this is going to affect the way they are seen for the rest of their lives? And what impact that will have on future careers and prospects

DH suggested not posting directly onto the internet in full as it is a legal letter. It is based on the information shared yesterday and yes you can legally start it with 'Dear Sir' :-)
There are a couple of bits that need filling in: name etc and where it says 'set out factual inaccuracies..' just a line or two disputing the above. Earlier I found this clinical report from when I was admitted to hospital. I was suffering from severe depression because my school/family were treating me like a boy. It reminds me how far I’ve come in 2 years, and the importance of fighting transphobia and the cis-tem

I wasn't aware of this Lily Madigan persons until I read about them on a couple of threads. Having looked at their twitter posts, they are clearly a pretty vulnerable person with some quite obvious issues. I'm amazed that the Labour Party allows this person to be linked to them. It's an incident waiting to happen. Cringeworthy and frightening for both this young person and also the targets of Lily's hatred.

Sorry I haven't kept up to date with this thread, but just a thought for anyone on terf blocker. Which? legal might be able to help. Very low cost and they've helped me a couple of times to great effect. Ask whether they deal with data protection type stuff before you sign up though.
