Lily Madigan Blocklist

So I am on this published blocklist. In good company with Julie Bindell et al, but still, I'm so angry. I've never tweeted Lily, so it is a mystery. I follow women's place and a lot of Rad fems, so it must be that? Anyone else on it? What should we do? I am totally shocked that this can be sanctioned by the party. That's my vote lost forever. Hell will freeze over before I vote Labour again.

Lily was elected by members of the CLP I think but it is a voluntary position in that it isn't a paid one, so Lily isn't an 'employee' of the party.

But he is still representing the party, so what he does will impact that surely??

Don't think Bergdorf's was paid either but it was much more high profile, so when the media got wind of the tweets it was game over due to the bad press.

Yes I'm sure Lily could be required to step down, if found to bring the party into disrepute but I don't know the exact rules.

The removal of LM (when it finally does happen) is not going to be a simple thing for Labour.

Because Lily won't be going quietly. That's for sure.

It will be an epic three ring circus involving TV appearances, solicitors, even more begging on Twitter and Owen Jones wading in with earnest pleas.

^I have discovered that I have been added to a list released to the public by Lily Madigan, with the statement that those on the list make the platform unsafe for transgender individuals.

I feel this is defamation and completely unacceptable. I have never engaged with Lily Madigan on Twitter, I have only ever liked 2 posts and written one comment of my own which was to comment on the fact that I had been blocked by Lily Madigan despite never engaging with them.

This does not look good for the Labour party, and I am shocked that this individuals behaviour is being allowed to continue.

I also vehemently disagree with Lily Madigan's use of the description 'schizo' in their Twitter profile. This is highly offensive and again completely unacceptable.

Lily Madigan is damaging the reputation of the party and now heading towards legal action being taken against them. This behaviour needs to stop. ^

How do I see my entry in the blocklist?

I searched my handle and it just said 'lily madigan blocks you' rather than showing me my entry in the Terf Hall of Fame!

The 'little bit autistic' really pissed me off actually.

I hope legal action is taken against them and I hope it’s miserable and humiliating and makes them shut up because they have absolutely nothing to say and it’s just an offensive noise atm.
