Labour lose 3 points - ALL women leaving the party

"The 3-point fall in the Labour share [in You Gov poll] is entirely explained by a 6-point fall among women (from 46% to 40%)"

CON 43 (+1)
LAB 39 (-3)
LD 8 (+2)

@jenniferjames says "Oh fucking hell. I broke the Labour party. :-( "

I've got very mixed feelings. On the one hand - go everyone! They'll have to take notice - surely?

But - Jesus Christ let's not let the Tories have another term.

But - we have to stick up for ourselves don't we.

Starting to think the people who say the rapid rise in TRA ideology is being fuelled by those who stand to benefit from a divided left might have a point. Sad

he, AngryKittens

The challenge would be for him to write a paragraph.

AngryAttackKittens · 13/02/2018 10:26

Ze, even, in keeping with the issue of the day.

OvaHere · 13/02/2018 10:45

JJ did confirm on twitter last week that it was her account here so for it to be an imposter they would have had to hacked her twitter too or her account her since she made that tweet.

I do actually think it is JJ, she is just a staunch Corbynite and I suspect torn between objecting to self ID and not wanting to damage Corbyn's leadership.

I personally don't think one can happen without the other whilst Jeremy is taking his current stance.

DarthNigel · 13/02/2018 10:54

I realised about a year ago that I am now so disenfranchised by all of the parties for various reasons that I've become totally shit down about any sort of politics. I just don't see the point as I don't feel I have a voice. And that makes me feel very sad indeed.

EmpressOfJurisfiction · 13/02/2018 10:58

We do need to remember that the poster calling herself Jennifer James may be an imposter.

I really, really doubt this. The posts are consistent with her tweets and with the updates on the fundraiser.

AngryAttackKittens · 13/02/2018 11:00

I think it's the cult of Corbyn striking again, apparently once someone has decided that he's Jesus/Neo come to save us all that's that and he must be defended at all costs.

TheXXFactor · 13/02/2018 11:02

I think it's probably JJ too, but think we should keep in mind the possibility that it is not.

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 13/02/2018 11:21

Tory Class genocide

Wtf is that

Anyway while Corbyn & co are in control of Labour the Tories are staying in power for longer

I can now see an end to Corbyn’s power hopefully in time for the next election 😀

Myunicornfliessideways · 13/02/2018 11:27

It's become bleeding obvious this morning that Labour have deployed paid political posters to try and undo some of the damage. With sound bites.

They can fuck off with that too. By their deeds shall you know them.

makeourfuture · 13/02/2018 11:29

Well, if your boy Blair hadn't crashed the world economy.....perhaps none of this would have happened?

Horridemma · 13/02/2018 11:32

What?? Don't be so bloody ridiculous.

I think you are giving Blair far too much credit. One politician from our country is not responsible for the world economy!

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 13/02/2018 11:33

Blair crashed the world economy

Grin you really need to read up on that time and not something that is published by the far left

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 13/02/2018 11:34

And what is Tory class genocide?

IntelligentYetIndecisive · 13/02/2018 11:34

It wasn't just Blair and Brown.

The entire Western economy sleepwalked into the economic crisis.

Blair and Brown were caught out as they were relying on 'stability is sexy'.

Many institutions, including local authorities had money invested in banks which collapsed with the housing market.

Lettucepray · 13/02/2018 11:35

Currently in hot debate on facebook with men on The deep left's page about this very issue....apparently I should take my views back to the 1950's where they belong!

AngryAttackKittens · 13/02/2018 11:35

There's a little thread about spam that people may want to go check out...

TheXXFactor · 13/02/2018 11:35

You've got to hand it to him: how he found time to buy millions of US sub-prime mortgages while running the UK, I'll never know.

QueenLaBeefah · 13/02/2018 11:37

You're not very good at this make

AngryAttackKittens · 13/02/2018 11:39

Well, you know, efficiency is a virtue, and who needs sleep when your unholy life force can be sustained on evil alone?

Horridemma · 13/02/2018 11:41

@make - you need to trot to your superiors and say how horrible those middle England Ford Focus driving women are.

How mean we are for not believing some of the labour approved bullshit that is coming out !

People like you have cast people like me adrift politically. Our vote does count.

Botanistinhiding · 13/02/2018 11:43

Perhaps Blair really was omniscient XX - my respect for him went up when I realised why he’d kept the momentum/Corbynites so far away from him in the 90s.

LangCleg · 13/02/2018 11:45

I want a properly left Labour party. I want to support Corbyn. But if he can't get something as foundational as women's rights protected in his policy platform, I'm afraid I'm just going to tell him to get in the sea. Simples. Ball's in his court, not mine.

birdsdestiny · 13/02/2018 11:48

Who knew. Blair was destroying the world's economy whilst Corbyn was single handedly creating peace in northern IrelandGrin

TheXXFactor · 13/02/2018 11:53

who needs sleep when your unholy life force can be sustained on evil alone?

God knows how he sustains his post-PM perma-tan, given that he can't go out in daylight.
