Disgusted by all you transphobes - part two

I'd just thought of a reply to our latest drop and run when you inconsiderate lot went and took all the spaces up on the last thread (ah, I see what you did there Grin) and I think it needs saying to our regular drop ins - I figure this is the sort of thread that will draw their virtuous wrath/ illiterate sympathy.

Anyway...

Too many posts to read but I agree with the OP - the transphobia on this website is shocking. A penis is just that, a penis, a sex organ, not an indicator of gender and if you can't get your head around that I suggest you repeat it to yourself daily until you do

Why can none of the posters who pop on here to scream transphobia maintain concentration long enough to actually read anything they are spurting their glittery virtue at?

I on the other hand, can actually read (I know, go me! Grin) so I'm curious. If this site (and I'm sure you are aiming at this particular section) was even a fraction as transphobic as the people who can't read think...why am I happy to be here, reading and replying? Why is the only place that my own concerns aren't met with derision or hatred?

Don't worry, I don't expect an answer. I suspect I lost you after the first syllable.

Men's pool at Hampstead, men's loos, Eton, men's clubs & primogeniture. We need to self identify while maintaining feminine gender expression and invade in large numbers (or bring legal cases threatening invasion). That will put a stop to all this crap quick smart.

Let’s do it! Let’s start with that golf one, St Andrews

Lovelyusername · 09/02/2018 12:15

And I want to start a petition against the primogeniture clause. If anyone good at wiring stuff pls pm me ! I am shit

Most of those elite clubs don't just accept applications, though - existing members propose new members; the membership body then votes on them. Hence no breaking of the law.

This is an interesting article: www.theguardian.com/world/2015/jul/06/garrick-club-votes-to-continue-with-ban-on-women-members

The Hampstead Men's Pond though - surely that just requires biological women to turn up and self-identify as transmen for the gates to be breached? If it is run under the same trust and with the same rules as the Ladies' Pond?

Mumsnut · 09/02/2018 13:48

As an aside, if self-id does go through, I am wondering whether convents and seminaries will get some sort of exemption?

Datun · 09/02/2018 15:03

I wish somebody who is on that program with Piers Morgan, or Andrew Marr would start calling them cis men.

Oh cis men like you. Or when cis men say.

And when they look askance, just dismiss it with a well unless you are a woman who identifies as a man, you're a cis man. Silly.

Because I can't see many of these alpha males being content to be defined only in relation to women.

BronwenFrideswide · 09/02/2018 15:39

Maryz you are absolutely correct in what you say about Rat's quote, the two statements together are mutually exclusive, one cannot follow the other it is nonsensical.

Also this 'belief' mantra, does that require a belief in what everyone says they are? Therefore, Rachel Dlozeal is black, Steph-on-Knee is a six year old girl, how far does it go?

I've thought about the premise of women en-masse self-identifying as men, without making a single change to their physical appearance, and demanding access to male only places, I don't know if it would work but it might jolt some people out of their head in the sand thinking.

The recent President's Club debacle made me wonder - Peter Jones was there as a 'Captain of Industry' type if Deborah Meaden self-id as a man would she have been invited as she meets all the other criteria?

CaveMum · 09/02/2018 15:46

Interesting to see that Labour have taken a hit in the Polls that seems to be attributed to losing support amongst women.

Now why could that be? Hmm

Disgusted by all you transphobes - part two
HairyBallTheorem · 09/02/2018 15:51

That is indeed interesting CaveMum.

BronwenFrideswide · 09/02/2018 16:02

It needs to continue to fall before they listen though CaveMum, there will no doubt be a plethora of excuses and double speak about it.

Datun · 09/02/2018 16:22

It needs to continue to fall before they listen though

It will. At the moment it is only a handful of women who understand the implications.

Wait till the general public all wake up.

CaveMum · 09/02/2018 16:28

Oh there definitely needs to be more of a fall, but perhaps, just perhaps, this is the start. 🤞🏻

LangCleg · 09/02/2018 16:36

Interesting to see that Labour have taken a hit in the Polls that seems to be attributed to losing support amongst women.

There was also a recent report of 5,000 members leaving in a month. But this may be the tip of the iceberg because it takes Labour six months to cancel your membership if all you do is cancel your direct debit. Unless you write to them and resign as well, and ask them to remove your data, you'll still be on their membership list for a while.

I honestly think Labour are going to get a big shock when they eventually realise how many people are leaving and the size of the proportion who are women.

BronwenFrideswide · 09/02/2018 17:17

I hope so Lang and Datun and that the ripples will be felt in all political parties because there doesn't seem to be one that is really listening at the moment.

WitchIwasaWitch18 · 09/02/2018 17:34

I voted labour last time. No way on earth I'll give them my vote again until they have a major rethink on these issues. Bloody sanctimonious fools.

LefkosiaTigers · 09/02/2018 17:48

I would not be able to vote for a party that has a man as a Women's Officer, albeit in a local branch. No matter how he identifies, he is still a man.

LefkosiaTigers · 09/02/2018 17:51

I really think that there would be support for a decent party for women. If I had the capital and time, I'd look into it (I have a son with special needs to care for, so cannot do it myself, but would support a Spartacus party!)

news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/7963814.stm

Here you are. How to start the Spartacus party...

CaveMum · 09/02/2018 17:56

There is the Women’s Equality Party, but I’m unaware of where they stand on the trans issue

I think this answers you CaveMum

mustbemad17 · 09/02/2018 18:03

Very new to the whole issue, i have recently 'peaked' as i believe the term is! What i was hoping somebody could help me with is; all the current media hypes seem to be about self-Id'ing MTF trying to invade designated safe spaces for women. Are there any self-Id'ing FTM trying to even things out with designated bloke spaces??? Currently i get the impression that this is a back door attempt at allowing blokes legally into women spaces without any comebacks!

CaveMum · 09/02/2018 18:08

That’s a shame. Thanks WitchIwasaWitch18

joek1886 · 09/02/2018 18:11

having read all the comments,I admit im somewhat confused as,to the point of this thread,it was started by trans person and yet they take hardly any part in it, why ?, is it to just pop back later and post remarks that no one is about to defend there point ,if it was me id want to engage with people, and hopefully get them to consider my view,,also I wasn't impressed with the tone of first post, suggesting they are better than me education wise, although probably true, its not relevant to this, and I quote "Don't worry, I don't expect an answer. I suspect I lost you after the first syllable " so I didn't imagine this,,and if they aren't reading our posts how can you possibly give an opinion that we are all trans phones,,I defend my right to my own opinion, and its not right or wrong if you disagree with me,it seems to me a lot of minority groups believe I have to change my views ,,again why ?,,I don't know the percentage or numbers, but if the UK ,has 75 million people, and 1 million were trans,,I think ( not certain,im dumb) that means the trans would represent 0.75% of the population,,so I and others the 99.25%,,have to agree with trans opinion or we get told what terrible people we are,,,this makes no sense,,,have your view by all means ,but don't try to force them on me,,after all I've never told you that you should agree with me,,im sorry if I haven't expressed myself well or quickly,,but I feel strongly just because you make most noise it doesn't make you right, thanks everyone who read all of this ,ultimately we are the human race for it to continue, the 99.25% is needed to procreate,as we are meant to ,,without that we die out !! Joe

BronwenFrideswide · 09/02/2018 18:18

joek1886 This thread is a continuation of another thread with the same title started by someone else. The OP of this thread re-used the title to keep the discussion which had filled the other thread going, I think you need to read the opening post of the first thread to understand the context as from what you have posted you are misinterpreting the opening post on this thread.
