Yes, but I am reading that thread and I came across DARVO. Oh my goodness, this describes what stbxh tried to do and to some extent succeeded.

Knowledge is power, if you cannot name a behaviour, you cannot condemn or challenge it. That to me has been the most important thing and this is one more bit of the puzzle.

I have avoided all of the press about the Ulster case, there is a backlash against women, particularly when it comes to rape and sexual abuse. There are very important issues of consent being eroded.

I've just been out with a group which included a woman I've met once or twice, friend of a friend, always thought she seemed nice.

Tonight she said to me that she thinks feminists are ridiculous and she worries that women are starting to treat men very badly and they shouldn't complain about things like a "harmless" kiss at a work party etc. I changed the subject. Ugh.
