Thats an interesting article moth. Best not on the board or MRAs would be all over it!
I was wondering today, hopefully, if the news about darts getting rid of the girls means the overton window is shifting and maybe p0rn will become less acceptable?

That's awful. Did they have a biological sex and gender question?

I had to fill in forms for training at work and it was "do you feel that your gender aligns with your biological sex" or something. Apart from anything else, it had as much relevance for the training as asking me "do you prefer deep house or acid house".

It was male/female/other blah blah (cant remember)/none or prefer not to say on the more depressing/up side it was an appallingly written feedback survey in other ways too Grin survey monkey is sooooo easy to use & still they will generate fairly useless data Confused

I have an appointment with my msp next week & am worried i will either mumble incoherently or rant...

So I spent this eve in a rl pub with a dear old friend who I haven't seen for over a year. He's a gay man. We spent hours talking about the transgender debate. Hours. It was brilliant - deep, nuanced, relevant, challenging, considered. Towards the end of the night he asked me if I would go to prison to defend the biological definition of woman (and man)... and I was surprised to find myself saying yes. I would.

I have had two female contacts telling me about how great Jordan Peterson is

I tried to look him up but all I can hear is "blah blah"...and then if I look up other people's summaries it's "blah lobster" and they seem to be angry with him but won't say why

Then today an article appeared saying he has loads of male fans - also talks about lobsters and standing up straight etc

can anyone tell me what his message is other than "blah"? I saw the interview with Cathy Newman and didn't get much from that either. It may be because all the academic language has lost me - neo this, post that....
