😂😂. Imagine if the book was short. 400 pages & 10 hours on audio. Can't see it happening myself. I think they just put holding numbers in and things will get updated.

I wonder how long it takes to record the audio book? Glenister is probably reading the Hallmarked Man now & developing his character voices etc. Must take a while to record- he always does such a fantastic job.

I've read all the books and then I discovered the audiobooks & I listen to them on repeat now. My kids laugh at me.

How much time will pass between books? Between Strike telling Robin he loves her in relation to where book 8 will start?
Maybe Robin never went away with Ryan but changed her plans & stayed.

In The Running Grave JKR put a little incentive on twitter for a plot moment and whomever made her laugh got treated by her to tickets to London & dinner for 4 at her fave restaurant. My friend won it and said it was incredible & 1/2 way thru she got a message from JKR to say she wasn’t spending enough and to order some champagne/wine.

Imagine such a treat.

I literally finished The running grave last night after reading & listening to each in the series back to back. As well as watching the tv series immediately after finishing each book.

I buy both the audio and physical versions of the books. I love the audio books, the character voices are so clever.

I enjoy listening to these on audio for the first time the most too, such good performance, although some of the cult stuff was a long, hard listen.

That’s Il Portico in Kensington - I’ve been there & the food is incredibly delicious but also very filling, I think partly because it’s so full of flavour. I couldn’t finish any of my courses so definitely might have been told I wasn’t spending enough.

Sorry to reignite an oldish thread but is anyone else going out of their mind with the wait? I’ve reread and rewatched everything, exhausted the fan fiction that’s good enough to enjoy and there’s still like 57 days to go!!!! Arghhhhhh! 😂
