Right thought I should put up a new thread as we were getting close to filling up the old one!

Useful Notes and Links:

HD = Hairy Dieter's Recipe Book. Circa £7.00 on Amazon and full of yummy low WW point recipes

We share our yummy low point recipes on this thread

We track our losses weekly on this online spread sheet

The spread sheet also has a tab containing all the WW points for every single recipe in the HD book, courtesy of the lovely OhTheConfusion (for working them out) and AddictedtoCrunchies (for having the foresight to paste them in the spread sheet)

Here's to another thread of amazing losses ladies!!

Thanks Polly. Same as SW the staying within 5lb of it. The 5lb gives a bit of leeway when it comes to water retention before a period As long i get more comfortable and a bit healthier that would be great Smile

Darkesteyes · 26/07/2013 00:28

I will take my before and after photos with me when i go. In first photo im 21 stone and in second photo 11 stone 4.

Hi ladies, it was all going so well, good losses in my first 2 weeks, then my 3rd week only half a pound, then this week on quarter of a pound. I have been sticking to it, but haven't made the best choices over the last 2 weeks as I'm an actress and have been in a production, so I've had no time to cook, I leave the house at 3pm and don't get home til 2am. The production is over now so I have more time to get on track thankfully. Any advice? I feel a bit down.

It doesn't help that I went out for a huge Greek with the cast last night to celebrate the end of our 2 week run. I feel disgusting & bloated today.

NewYorkDeli · 26/07/2013 11:13

The abounded post should say *only a quarter of a pound.

Darkesteyes · 27/07/2013 00:57

NY i think youve done bloody well considering the times youve been working
When i was on SW which ive mentioned upthread i was working nights in a sex chatline office 5pm til 3am
And it does take a bit of juggling doesnt it. but well done you are doing great.
Im hoping to start WW class on 14th August. But am already starting to make healthier choices so im more prepared.
I know i cant starve myself like i was doing a while back That was stupid

What was the production by the way nosy

INeedThatForkOff · 27/07/2013 09:43

i was working nights in a sex chatline office

I love that you dropped that in without a hint of sensationalism Grin

NewYorkDeli · 27/07/2013 10:08

darkesteyes thank you, I feel a bit better today as I went food shopping yesterday and stocked up on Special K, low fat Philadelphia, water biscuits etc etc... Hopefully I can really kick start a decent loss this week.

The production was a Brecht play "Fear & misery of the third Reich" We toured a few places fairly local to home.

pollywollydoodle · 27/07/2013 10:37

Shock Grin darkesteyes and the sex chatlines....i'd be rubbish at that unless "give over , i'm in my jim jams" counts...

Darkesteyes · 28/07/2013 02:04

Grin ForkOff.

NewYork Wow Im impressed. A very heavy subject to tackle in a play.
Polly its a piece of piss once you get going.

Bad night for me Was at parents and got stuck into cheesy Doritos and ate a Wispa. Sad

BreatheandFlyAway · 28/07/2013 18:28

Hi there, I was on a while back but hospital and other shenanigans (like work, huh!) have got in way of meetings. So I'm doing ww line but progress is slow or non existent even with daily exercise (never previously done) and point counting.

Then I went to hospital again. They told me as aside that I wasn't absorbing bile salts- which means body can't break down fat. So at least I have an explanation. But very annoying handicap to be fat magnet Grin so low low fat it is.

Darkesteyes hello, how're you, lovely? Xx

AddictedtoCrunchies · 31/07/2013 17:50

Well done both of you. I'm struggling a bit at the moment. Have had lots of things on which means I can't seem to get into a routine. So just trying to maintain Smile

Darkesteyes · 31/07/2013 23:30

Hi Im not too bad. Still planning to start a WW class in two weeks time. Picking a date and going to stick to it (DHs health permitting.) Breathe the thing you say about bile salts sounds a real bummer. Makes it hard work.
I have no gall bladder it was removed 10 years ago Does that affect bile production or absorption does anyone know?
Well done to you ladies.

pollywollydoodle · 01/08/2013 00:23

sometimes crunchie that's the best i can manage too

darkesteyes it means you will be less good at absorbing fat so more of it than usual will end up in your poo and got rid of

XBenedict · 01/08/2013 16:14

Hi all, I am planning to join WW tonight. i have around 3 stone to loose. I've decided to grip it or forever accept I am over weight and unhappy.

poorpaws · 01/08/2013 22:14

MMMmmm weigh in tomorrow, say no more. (I'm with you Crunchie)

TheTempest · 02/08/2013 13:18

Hiya, can I join?

I'm seriously overweight (97.5 kilos) and I am on week 1 of WW. I did it for 6 weeks earlier this year and lost 5kg and have kept it off but gave up.

I'm week 1 day 5 and its going well, within daily points except for 1 day and have 40 weeklies left. And 10 activity points. Grin

Not hungry and actually quite enjoying it, hope the scales are kind to me Monday ! I'm camping next week with my DSis so going to try and keep to it. She's lost lots on WW and is still going so hopefully she'll keep me on the straight and narrow!

That's me, I won't always be so self obsessed- promise! Hope everyone is having a good week Smile

poorpaws · 02/08/2013 22:11

Lost 3.5 lbs, with absolutely no idea how. Wish I did know how I'd done it because I'd do it again next week. Wink

TheTempest · 04/08/2013 08:55

Well done PoorPaws Grin

WI tomorrow I'm strangely excited and nervous!

karinmaria · 04/08/2013 09:13

Morning all, can I join? Started doing WW online a few weeks ago as I wanted to regain control of my portions (and my clothes!) after pregnancy.

I was 11st 2lbs when I started and now 10st 7.8lbs Smile

Been really enjoying it, although I am still finding it hard to say 'no' to things when I am with friends/in-laws etc. Hopefully I'll get better at that!

honeytea · 05/08/2013 07:22

Hello :) Can I join you?

I have restarted ww after pregnancy (long after ds is 7 months old) I lost 40 pounds with ww pre-pregnancy but have put it all back on again :(

I have lots to loose, my starting weight is 102 kg.

I went to meetings last time but the are very expensive where I live (40 pounds per month here in Sweden Shock ) and with a baby I am finding it hard to find the spare cash so I am going to start off not going to meetings and seeing if I can manage to stick to it on my own.

I have calculated my points and added 7 extra points for breastfeeding (ds is eating some food so i gues that counts as part time bf?) my points are 42, I don't feel like I will ever loose weight eating so much! Well we will see :)

AddictedtoCrunchies · 05/08/2013 17:12

Hello chaps and welcome new people. Hope you're all still counting??

Two weeks and 5 days to the first half marathon and I managed 11 miles in 2.02 hrs last Saturday. Was completely shagged for the rest of the day mind you.

Weight loss is hovering around 18-20lbs at the moment. Can't break the 20lb barrier but might be because I've had loads on recently so all in all am quite pleased not to have piled the weight back on.

Have a great week..
