Right thought I should put up a new thread as we were getting close to filling up the old one!

Useful Notes and Links:

HD = Hairy Dieter's Recipe Book. Circa £7.00 on Amazon and full of yummy low WW point recipes

We share our yummy low point recipes on this thread

We track our losses weekly on this online spread sheet

The spread sheet also has a tab containing all the WW points for every single recipe in the HD book, courtesy of the lovely OhTheConfusion (for working them out) and AddictedtoCrunchies (for having the foresight to paste them in the spread sheet)

Here's to another thread of amazing losses ladies!!

We went to mum's for tea and I had a ham salad while everyone else had fish and chips . Then I .had a slice of homemade cheesecake

Weigh in tomorrow morning then I'm off to London with my pal for a day of cocktails and nice food then a show. Can't wait! Hopefully the exercise I've done this week will negate the amount I'm planning to drink Wink

Another lb off. That's 13 now so one more for the stone.

Off to London today. If anyone has any suggestions for a nice place to eat then please let me know Smile

Thanks for the welcome everyone. :)

I've had to weigh myself a day early as my in-laws are staying for the weekend. The wii fit says I am down a pound, but it rounds down (I think) so I could've lost a bit more. Grin Who knows.

Still, pleased as I had a bit of an off day yesterday (le sigh) belatedly realising that those Kallo dark chocolate rice cake "thins" are 2 points each. Shock and not at all filling of course.

Speaking of, does anyone follow Healthy and Filling? I couldn't do it last time as I was dairy-free as DD had a milk protein intolerance and I was BFing, this to me around I'm intrigued as I'm currently a pretty whole foods eater.

Aw I stayed the same at my wi (two weeks since last wi). I am so disappointed and expected to lose at least 3lbs if not more. OK so now I have a week of trying even harder. I can't seem to lose weight on my daily 26 ppts and weekly 49 ppts. Even my leader is confused by it and is going to check with other leaders and I don't cheat (honestly) and track everything. I've increased my exercise too (although for health reasons I walk slowly) but I am doing more. Sad I feel like I am letting everyone down, you are all doing so well.

Paws - just keep at it. I find I loose less when I drink less water for some reason. What about looking at what you are eating? More lean protein less processed

Well done crunchie and invader, every little loss is a step in the right direction!

I put on 1lb today at weigh in, which I'm pretty pleased about as the last 7 days has been filled with curry, naan bread and a night out last night which culminated in a large amount of "iceland party food" such as onion bhajis, wedges, filo prawns etc.

No distractions this week and I should be able to get rid of that 1lb and hopefully one or two more next weekend.

The sun is shining Smile so hoping I might squeeze in a walk this afternoon

Well done Crunchie and Invader! Smile

Jazzcat - sounds like you had a fun week, I'm glad you're not feeling down about the gain because its nothing really and will be off again next week! Here's to kicking ass Wine Grin

Paws, like fled said, maybe you need to concentrate more on what you're eating, and eat more protein/less processed stuff...you've done really well, don't feel like you're letting us down because you're really not! Are you eating enough? How many of your weeklies do you use?

I lost 0.5lbs today at WI, DP STS. I am very pleased, and even more pleased to have completed week 1 of C25K! I rewarded myself for losing a stone today with lovely new Nike running shoes, ooooh they are so pretty and I'm currently wearing them around the house and I'm dying to go for a run but today is our C25k rest day!

I also bought Women's Health magazine, i find that it's brilliant for keeping me motivated. Feeling very pleased with myself for not rewarding myself with food, that's a new feeling Grin

Afternoon everyone, what a lovely sunny day. I had a netball match earlier and it was nice to finally play without tracky bottoms. Off for a run later with my friend - am supporting her through C25k and we're just finishing our 2nd week.

Had a great day in London yesterday. Drank too much and ate all the wrong things but walked MILES so have just discounted yesterday and am pointing from today. One day won't make that much difference and real life does have to go on. Saw Wicked last night - what a fab show that was. Loved it.

Also went to Nados for the first time. It was like a motorway service station - not impressed at all. Can't see what all the fuss is about really.

I am a bad WW! she say's whilst pouring the wine

I am writing off yesterday and today (after I drink the wine) and starting again tomorrow... Crunchie, I need that line please!

My lovely darling DC's are normally a complete pleasure... well not yesterday and today... I think this is called 'emotional eating' wine and cheese!

I will check in tomorrow when I am pointing and being a good WW again.

onthemetro I'm eating all my points and all (or most of) my weeklies. I do tend to repeat the same foods every day and I think this is my problem.

Ive got my new (third) pedometer on and today Ive really gone for it (well for me that is). Think Ive broken my dogs we've walked so far.
I feel very determined this week, I will lose weight next Friday, I will!

Well done to everyone, you are doing just great.

Had a long, heated argument with ww customer services on the phone last night. I bought my third ww pedometer at the meeting because there was 25 per cent off and various members said I should ring and complain that two had already broken so when I got back home I rang.

A foreign lady, who I could barely understand (no Im in no prejudice, its just a fact) spent a very long time asking lots of questions and repeatedly asked when Id bought them. I bought them both at meetings and since I paid cash and receipts aren't given I kept telling her I had no idea. She kept me on the phone for an absolute age then said she'd ring back in 3 mins. After over 20 mins she rang, got confused and cut me off. I waited again and then rang her. She asked a load more questions and then asked for a serial no. under the battery cover. The no. told her it was out of guarantee so I wasnt eligible for a replacement. How I wished she'd have just asked me to remove the cover first and saved me two long phone calls and a lot of grey hairs.

Oh wow I have been away for a bit and not checking the thread and then find a new one already!!

I'm feeling pretty demoralised this morning. It's week 9 and for the first time I have a gain. I just don't understand why though as I have been tracking and sticking within my allowance. I gained 1.8 this week, granted I used all my weekly and activity points but seems a big gain for not being naughty. Last weeks weigh in was probably a false low as I'd had a sickness bug so lost 2.4 lbs last week but still feeling a bit 'what's the point in all this crackerbread/ depriving oneself if I'm going to gain anyway'.

Rant over! Well done everyone else!

Debussy don't give in, I promise in the end it will be worth it. You've just had a bad week, draw a line, take a deep breath and start again, you won't regret it.

Remember nothing tastes as good as being slim feels. Think of a size 12 outfit, you'll be fabulous!

Hello Everyone. Very excited to see that we've moved to thread 3. I've had a week away and not been pointing. But had a big family do yesterday and received lots of compliments about how I looked so feeling ready to face a new week. Not going to worry about what the scales say this week, just jump right back on and keep going.

The main problem with being away is that I haven't been doing my walking so I need to get back into that routine. And I haven't been running again so will see if I can fix that this week.

Away again for another long weekend on Thursday so will hope to have a good few days in the run up.

Happy Monday all, here's hoping for a sunny one!

Hello everyone!

Poorpaws - I had problems with my pedometer but my ww leader wrote me a receipt out, even though I got it off the Internet and didn't have the paperwork. My 2nd seems to be working fine, annoying though when the other broke as I am abit obsessive about it (fallen asleep on a night accidentally wearing it a few times lol) hoping my night movements might earn me a few points ;-)

I have hit abit of a steady patch not really putting on excessive weight but not losing either, just can't seem to kick myself back into it properly, seems to go to pot on the weekend abit, all I know is if I stop doing this then it will creep back on and I really want to get thin! oh and healthy of course!

Well done to all of you that have lost, I take inspiration from you guys and its really spurring me on to keep going :D

Just back from fantastic long weekend with much over-indulgence (mainly alcohol related!) pointed it all so last week I used all dailies, all weeklies and 15 exerciselies!! WI for me is Monday morning - and as I was in a caravan with no scales I didn't! (Nothing to do with fearing what the scales may have to say :) )
Back to healthy and sensible now - hoping the damage is minimal.
Keep going everyone!

Well my kitchen is a bit cleaner (not a lot)!

Been wiping all the cupboard fronts and cleaning the fridge just to gain some activity points.Wink

They take an awful lot of earning to say how quickly it is to eat them.

Keep up the good work everyone, you're all doing great! If I don't lose weight this week the bleeping scales will have flying lessons (right across the room).
