Right thought I should put up a new thread as we were getting close to filling up the old one!

Useful Notes and Links:

HD = Hairy Dieter's Recipe Book. Circa £7.00 on Amazon and full of yummy low WW point recipes

We share our yummy low point recipes on this thread

We track our losses weekly on this online spread sheet

The spread sheet also has a tab containing all the WW points for every single recipe in the HD book, courtesy of the lovely OhTheConfusion (for working them out) and AddictedtoCrunchies (for having the foresight to paste them in the spread sheet)

Here's to another thread of amazing losses ladies!!

I'm trying to have a big ww push again this week. It's not that I've gone 'off plan' particularly, it's just I can feel myself slipping. Being a bit complacent and not tracking like I should so I'm trying to be better again and get back in the zone.

I'm still couch to 5k-ing and I think that's helping.

It's very quiet on here so I hope everyone is doing ok.

I'm still here! This is still one of my lifelines. I seem to have things sorted through the week then go to pot at the weekends. But I'm doing ok Smile

I'm here!! Am determined to have a loss this week but have been hit by the plague a nasty cold so not sure how it will turn out. Taste buds have numbed so even chocolate doesnt taste of anything so it could be my best WI yet!!

Did you know it's only 13 weeks until 1st July? For those of us who signed up to the 12st 7 by 1st July challenge is it looking likely?

I have 2st to lose by then so if I average 2lb a week I'll be almost there!

I'm trying to stay on track too this week, it's hard on 26 dailies. I'm out for dinner on thurs night and a big night of dinner, cocktails, wine Fri night. It will be a nightmare points wise. Any tips on point friendly cocktails? Going to Harvey Nichols cocktail bar so will feel a bit boring just having vodka tonics!! Might have to right this week off! Did 70 min walk with pram this morning only 4 activity points!

I bought the new (third) pedometer on Friday, used it on a dog walk this morning and lost it! No idea where or why. I firmly fixed it to the waist of my trousers just did a slow dog walk with no unusual lifting or bending (apart to pick up dog poo) and when I got back it was missing. I am so cross as I feel I do much better with one on but I just can't keep buying them. Struggling tonight.

jazzcat eek only 13 weeks? I've got 19lbs to lose so will be tight for me. But I'm chugging on steadily.

paws you're destined not to have a pedometer. You're welcome to it but it's not a WW one. PM your address and I'll post it to you. Grin

I am failing big time. Not been posting here, not been tracking, lack of activity. Eating lots.
Can't get back on track!

Ginger - u and me both...

I really find tracking hard...it takes so much time...is it really worth it??

Report
GingerLemonTea · 10/04/2013 09:18

Louise... I find tracking fairly quick as I use the app. In fact it's never been so easy, but I'm just not in the zone.

Feel like I'm actually sabotaging my previous efforts. Had lost 12lbs & it's going back on!

WI today - lost 1/2 lb. at least it's a loss not a gain Blush

Will be so glad when kids back at school and I don't have them and chocolate around. Also walking on the school run will help too.

Morning, I am being so bad Sad. DH is back at work after a week of family time eating...but returned to a stressy (not a word) situation and came home with Indian take away and wine on Mon (to relax!!!) and I ate at my parents last night.

I am weighing in tonight to face the music and then start again tomorrow morning. I have 20.5lbs (plus whatever I have gained this week) to lose in the next 13 weeks and I am determined to do it. I have walked a fair bit this past week as my local WW group is doing a '5k challenge' were we do a minimum of 5k each day... I have managed it 4 days out of 7 Blush.

That is my crunchie line... I have dragged it up from where Crunchie left it for me on Sat!

Just checked my diary again and it's actually 12 weeks to start of July!! So consider this a big boot up the bum to all those who are struggling to get back on it!

My day looks like this:

All day - 350ml skimmed milk (3pp)

Breakfast - 30g porridge (3pp) using water and milk from allowance

Lunch - tin of Sainsburys roasted red pepper and tomato soup (5pp)

Snacks - banana, satsumas, Lemsip (0pp)

Dinner - HD chilli and ginger salmon (7pp) with greens and 60g rice (6pp)

That all comes to 27pp so I have 7pp left and almost all my weeklies.

Ooh, I'd forgotten about our challenge! I've lost a stone in 12 weeks, so if I can do that again ill be 12st 8 which isn't far off Grin fingers crossed!

I'm plodding on, not doing amazingly but not doing too badly either. Am still doing C25k and it's making me feel like I'm superwoman. But I'm also feeling like I'm not doing very well, I'm not sure why as yesterday I was convinced that I'd binged and messed everything up but when I wrote it down in my journal I had about 8pp left...very weird.

Well done on the loss fled! And thread Grin

Well done thread!

I'm still 14st 7.5lbs so too far for our July challenge but hope to have lost another stone at least by then.

Well done everyone!

Had my weigh in this evening and stayed the same woohoo! Believe me this is quite an achievement :) this week coming I'm measuring and tracking EVERYTHING! she says with a big ol' chunk of Brie in one hand... Starting tomorrow!

Had a bad week food wise as well as life wise not including my broken blackberry and smashing my ipad screen :( which I am now using covered in cling film, at least until tomorrow where I will go pay some extortionate price to get it fixed... BUT tomorrow is a start of a new ww week and hopefully a fixed screen, i must stay positive and make this week better than the last.

Porridge and soup will be my diet staples this week, I eat far to much bread so going to try and have a week without it, wish me luck, I'm going to need it :D

Well done everyone on sticking with it and for the losses. I wanted to check in just to say that I am still around and am planning to weigh in on Friday and get back pointing.

After being on hols for 10days, I was hoping to get back on track this week. However, I have been ill since Monday night with a stomach bug so living on a tea and toast diet. That may sound like a good way to counter 10 days of holiday eating and drinking but I think I may be the only person in the world who doesn't loose weight when they have a stomach bug. Also, my period just started today so who knows what effect that will have.

I have decided to view Friday as a new start and whatever I weigh, it will be less than when I started in jan and I am going to try hard to get to goal for the summer.

I have my first GAIN! I gained 1lb this week... better than I expected after 8 days of excess but still fed up.

I got myself a WW pedometer tonight but not quite sure how I see the activity points gained? I am not going to use them but want to spur myself on a bit.

AddictedtoCrunchies · 11/04/2013 11:21

Confusion just draw a line under it and start again from this morning. I've never used a WW pedometer, I prefer to log the time and then add it in that way but I know others use one.

Report
mrsXsweet · 11/04/2013 13:23

Confusion I gained a pound too and also bought a ww pedometer. I can't get into the swing of it at all. I met up with friends on Tuesday and hate people knowing that I am dieting so instead of picking sensible options I had a third of a baguette with Brie and kettle chips and then for tea we had dominoes- at least they don't know I'm dieting I suppose!
I really need to change my mindset as I currently view healthy food as boring and only feel satisfied if I have chocolate/crisps/cheesecake etc. I am 31 yrs old and still eat like a student Sad.

confusion - I gained 1lb last week and have only lost 1/2lb this week so having a major kick start. Made 0pt soup, no snacks at all, want to loose at least 2lbs this week to keep on track

Awww thanks ladies, this is why I love our WW thread... you all 'get it'!

I have just done a HUGE shop and planned my meals for the next week. I have stocked up on 2pp treats and filled my trolly with high protein foods. I have got myself a wee notebook and use tally marks for my 5 a day (at 5 so far and still have dinner to go!!!) and a X for every 500ml of waler I drink, I am aiming for 2L a day.

Now all I have to do is stick to it Wink.

I have never in my life stuck to a regime as well as this one. And I know it's almost all to do with being on this thread.
Knowing that you are all on my side, supporting me whether I'm good, bad or indifferent makes such a massive difference to me and truly keeps me on track. Also all your lovely comments about my running and how well I've done have also inspired me to keep going.

I'm determined to continue and get to a healthy weight - my days of being overweight are almost gone.

So thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your support Thanks
