Right thought I should put up a new thread as we were getting close to filling up the old one!

Useful Notes and Links:

HD = Hairy Dieter's Recipe Book. Circa £7.00 on Amazon and full of yummy low WW point recipes

We share our yummy low point recipes on this thread

We track our losses weekly on this online spread sheet

The spread sheet also has a tab containing all the WW points for every single recipe in the HD book, courtesy of the lovely OhTheConfusion (for working them out) and AddictedtoCrunchies (for having the foresight to paste them in the spread sheet)

Here's to another thread of amazing losses ladies!!

Just did a 10k race and knocked 2m 8s off my pb. Aimed to come in under 60m and did 59.40. Am very chuffed. But very tired now. Grin

jazzcat28 · 13/06/2013 09:42

Hi all, sorry I've been a bit quiet this week. Combination of work stress and hectic social life!

Anyway, am kinda putting WW to one side at the moment as this morning I got my very first (VERY faint) BFP!!!

I'm going to wait until Father's Day on Sunday to test using a digi test and surprise DH but until then I will be eating well but not with the aim to lose weight.

Keep your fingers crossed for me ladies - I hope the BFP wasn't a false positive and this little pea sticks!

Wonderful news jazz Smile So exciting.

Iloveteatoomuch · 13/06/2013 15:56

Am hoping to join this thread, going to start WW next week. Lost 6.5stone last year through my own calorie counting but have gradually put 2stone back on since Christmas :( Going to give WW a go as just can't get back into the mindset of calories at the moment. Did start getting skinnier than i wanted so only aiming to lose a stone ish but hoping after reading all through this thread it shouldn't take too long!

AddictedtoCrunchies · 13/06/2013 16:02

Jazz I have everything crossed for you that your little munch sticks. That's going to be a fabulous Father's Day present and one Mr Jazzcat will never forget.

AddictedtoCrunchies · 13/06/2013 16:04

Blush Blush
Sorry, Ilovetea epic name misunderstanding there Blush

Iloveteatoomuch · 13/06/2013 17:16

No worries! I also love to eat too much so easy mistake ;) It will be nice to get some support on here, going to be doing WW online as DH works some strange shifts be hard with the DC to get to meetings. Be good to chat to others as due to my massive loss last year even though i have put 2stone back on i think people still see me as being slimmer so don't understand if i say i am dieting again bu i am totally miserable not being able to fit into nicer clothes now i have had a taste of it. Have ordered the starter pack so hopefully get it next week. Do u guys eat back your activity points?

AddictedtoCrunchies · 13/06/2013 18:25

Some do and some don't. I generally do because I do a lot of exercise and I find I need them. Not all of them though.

We're all agreed that you should eat most, or all of the daily and weekly points. Someone on here (embarrassingly I can't remember who) swears by a mid-week pizza as she says it kick starts her. It's all pointed and she loses regularly.

We're sporadic posters so don't be alarmed if no one's around for a day, we all come back. Smile

Iloveteatoomuch · 13/06/2013 19:04

Thanks for the support already,be good to stay on this thread and post my progress as an incentive to actually stick with it! Can't wait to get my stuff through the post and get started (grin)

Iloveteatoomuch · 13/06/2013 19:07

:)

poorpaws · 13/06/2013 23:15

So excited for you Jazz, can't wait for Sunday, all the luck in the world to you.

Welcome Ilovetea, we'll all support you here.

Wi tomorrow so desperate for even a tiny half pound loss after weeks of staying the same. I have been good so think I deserve a half pound.

poorpaws · 14/06/2013 22:52

So weigh night tonight ......

I kept to my 26 ppts per day, used 45 of my weekly ppts, added 21 activity pts which I did not use.

I turned down a steak and chips meal out and later on in the week turned down fish and chips.

I have been really, really good but given my recent track record only expected half a pound loss (though have to admit expected at least a pound or more).

Result, I've gained two pounds! Shock

I have not lied or exaggerated. I have been doing this long enough to know all about portion sizes, filling meals, activity etc etc and I am at a total and absolute loss to understand. I have put everything into this week to get a good result. I had to leave the meeting because I was so upset. I don't know what else I could possibly do.

AddictedtoCrunchies · 15/06/2013 14:28

Oh Paws I'm so sorrySad I have no words of wisdom but have Thanks
How much do you want to lose? Could it be you're where you should be? I'm no expert though, but I feel your pain xxx

Lambzig · 15/06/2013 15:32

Poor paws, I too have 26 points a day, but if I used my weekly ones as well and don't exercise, I don't lose at all.

This week I stuck to my 26 every day, no alcohol, did 30 day shred every day and walked everywhere and lost 2lbs, but really had to be super strict to get there.

Neeko · 15/06/2013 16:08

Poorpaws I've said before on here that I get my loss or gain the week after my behaviour so I'll bet you lose a good few lbs next week if you stick to it. Give it one more week and see.

xXjunebugXx · 15/06/2013 17:12

Hi ladies, so pleased this forum has a WW group :)

I have gained too much weight of late so am back on WW. I have done WW before with good result. It was when it was still 29pp. Not sure I want to go down to 26pp when 29pp worked very well before. So I think I will stick with 29pp but not stress if I eat less. I haven't weighed myself yet but I think I will be around the 11st 6lbs mark. I am aiming to lose 14lbs as my first goal and will then set another goal.

Nice to meet you all :)

jazzcat28 · 15/06/2013 21:35

It's official.... Couldn't wait to use my digital test... Am officially up the duff!

So I guess that means I'm off the diet for now. I just want to say that the past 6 months support from the ladies on this thread have been incredible - without you lot I know I wouldn't have managed to shed 2st 1lb (it's an important lb). I know I'm in a much healthier place for this little pea to grow now, hope it sticks!

Good luck with your ongoing WW plights and I'll pop my head in from time to time to kick you up the backside when needed!

AddictedtoCrunchies · 16/06/2013 19:14

Terrible week, gained 3lbs. Very disappointed but not going to let it slide.

Changed weigh in day to today and am back counting points with a vengeance. Running tonight and tomorrow then Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

Where is everyone? Paws come back.. Neeko..? Rightsaid..??

Neeko · 16/06/2013 22:02

I'm here Crunchie but I seem to have lost my ww mojo. Only 2 weeks til holiday so NEED to get back into it...
What happened to cause your gain?

Jazz bet you've still grinning. So happy for you.

poorpaws · 16/06/2013 22:39

Well done Jazz I'm so happy for you and I hope everything goes well in your pregnancy. I'll miss you so please pop in as promised.

Crunchie ~ I'm here. Sorry for your gain but we'll be positive together. I had a bit of a blip on Friday night but I'm right back on track and have been very good for the last two days. Unfortunately I've gone up a trouser size, well almost and my weight is around my tummy. I bought some new trousers a month ago and took the hem up last night and they were so very tight. I'm not getting down about it, I'm in fighting mode at the mo which surprises me as I felt so low on Friday night. In November I was 9st 9lbs, now I'm 10st 3.5 but I've decided that if I get back into the 9s even the high 9s that will do me.

I've got two meals out this week but I'm already saving weekly ppts and planning what I'll eat (luckily they are very basic lunches so shouldn't have too much of a problem).

Onward and upward, tortoise wins the race. Come on everyone (Neeko too) join me in a positive week. How's the running Crunchie?

fledtoscotland · 16/06/2013 23:28

Congratulations Jazz

Just a fleeting visit thanks to Addicted's foot meeting my ever-decreasing backside:)

Now lost 30lbs and officially a 14 - only weigh 14st 3.5lbs Smile. Still 3st to go to target but getting there.
