Right thought I should put up a new thread as we were getting close to filling up the old one!

Useful Notes and Links:

HD = Hairy Dieter's Recipe Book. Circa £7.00 on Amazon and full of yummy low WW point recipes

We share our yummy low point recipes on this thread

We track our losses weekly on this online spread sheet

The spread sheet also has a tab containing all the WW points for every single recipe in the HD book, courtesy of the lovely OhTheConfusion (for working them out) and AddictedtoCrunchies (for having the foresight to paste them in the spread sheet)

Here's to another thread of amazing losses ladies!!

Hi stuff and welcome to our gang. Thanks

So I went to get fitted for a new bra yesterday as mine were getting a little baggy. And I'm now in a ....... 34E! Shock. From a 38DD. Haven't been a 34 since my teens! Also I lost the lb I gained last week. Have a great day all, I'm taking DS to the fair then going to the netball superleague final tonight. Thanks

poorpaws · 25/05/2013 22:50

Welcome Stuff

Wow Crunchie the boob loss is excellent, you're doing just great.

I didn't go to wi last night as I wasn't well (not said before but I have ME (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome). I guess I would have gained anyway as I was trying to maintain on 32 ppts plus weeklies and I feel enormous. Been busy (for me) today, done a bit of gardening, a dog walk and a small Morrisons shop.

I don't usually go to Morrisons but it is my nearest supermarket and I wanted to get some salad and veg (shining halo again) so that I wouldn't have to go tomorrow as all being well I have another busy day planned.

Anyway I bought some WW fruit sponge puddings and WW thick cream as with not going to my meetings am getting low on WW chocolate bars. When I got home I microwaves the pud (new microwave working well, didn't like being without one) and poured the cream on, then took a paws type huge mouthful. Yuk the cream was off (sell by date 31 May) and it's made me feel sick all evening. I bought two tubs of cream and the other one with the same sell by date is fine. I wasted a whole tub of cream and a fruit pud and feel ill so I'm not best pleased!

Where is everyone? It's very quiet on here. Stuff, it's not usually this quiet honestly. How are you doing?

poorpaws · 25/05/2013 22:51

Oh and well done on the lb loss Crunchie as well as the boob loss.

Come back everyone I'm missing you all.

AddictedtoCrunchies · 26/05/2013 07:40

I'm still here ...

WeightWatcherLeaderJanie · 26/05/2013 16:53

Hi everyone!
I have recently joined mumsnet despite my children now being grown up I am a grandma to three lovely children who I spend lots of wonderful time with.
It's so good to see all the weight watchers chat on here. I have lots of mums at my meetings so it's brilliant to read your posts and see what you are finding easy or less easy.
My daughter introduced me to this site so I'm looking forward to picking up lots of tips and ideas for the grandchildren

poorpaws · 26/05/2013 21:25

Welcome Janie, no doubt you'll be very wise and popular here.

Crunchie, looks like its just you and me then (temporarily discounting newbies but very pleased you are both here). Well I hope everyone is having fun whilst Crunchie and I just shout to each other. How are you doing Crunchie? Could be talking to myself soon (wont be the first time Smile. I just hope everyone will be back after the Bank Holiday (assuming that's why its so quiet).

Waves to Crunchie in the distance ....... (waves to newbies too).

AddictedtoCrunchies · 26/05/2013 22:10

Coooeee!

I'm always here. My RL friends are bored with my weight loss jibber jabber. Made a lasagne for lunch. It wasn't HB. It was fully loaded. Oh yes. And I had a Cidre with it. Cos that's how I roll today. Wink

See you in the morning. We're going for a picnic to the park then I'm going for a run later. In a different park. Thanks Thanks

jazzcat28 · 27/05/2013 11:02

I'm here! Sorry for lack of posts lately. I've had a hectic week at work and a crazy bank hol but now back to normal hopefully!

Haven't fully caught up with the thread but did notice Crunchie is in Size 14s!!! Wooooooooooo! Grin

I fell off the WW wagon in spectacular style on Friday and am struggling to get back on it again. Too much BBQ and not much WW. Thinking of a fresh start tomorrow.

I did go out on Friday wearing skinny jeans and a size 12 top and got tonnes of compliments Smile

OP posts:
Neeko · 27/05/2013 11:46

I'm still here Smile back layer for a proper post.

ohayeiluvstuff · 27/05/2013 14:03

Thank goodness your all back! I have a terrible way of killing threads and I was starting to worry. Phew!

We have had an extra long holiday weekend as the kids were off school Thursday & Friday due to in service days. Thanks to the lovely weather I managed to keep them pretty active and even managed to get a 15 mile cycle down the coast. Ace! Unfortunately can't say the same for the food. We ate out twice and well the lovely lager managed to sneak its way in front of me. Gosh it was yummy!

paws shame about the pudding. I can't imagine many tastes worse than turned cream. I have stalked my freezer with yoo moo frozen yogurts 4pts for what feels like an ice cream treat. That's my treat for now until I learn a few more WW tricks.

crunchie brilliant news on the bra. I've been watching all the bra chat going on in style & beauty and thinking I really should get properly measured as its been years.

jazz bet all those compliments felt great. All the hard work does pay off. I can't wait to feel that.

janie have you been a leader for a while?

Hope your all having a lovely Bank Holiday. I'm off for a dog walk in the pouring rain.

jazzcat28 · 27/05/2013 14:59

Compliments certainly do spur me on, especially from unexpected sources (such as male work colleagues who are usually blinkered)

After getting my hopes up last month we are backinto shag fortnight at Casa Jazzcat... We are both much more relaxed and 'meh' about timings etc and I have to say its making it very enjoyable Blush should be testing again third week in June so stay tuned. Hoping I can shed at least another 4-5lb before then.

What are we all making for lunch at work tomorrow? I'm having a Glorious Skinny soup pot which is 6pp for the whole thing and tastes amazing

AddictedtoCrunchies · 27/05/2013 19:55

Looks like I've got ham and egg roll and fruit. DH is in charge of packed lunch.

I went out for a run earlier and did 3.1m with my friend at a slow pace (12.30 min/mile) then did 1.5 mile at 10 min mile pace. So feeling quite happy. Just had warmed up lasagne and salad for tea which was lovely too.

The house is clean, the washing and ironing's up together, the beds are changed and DS is asleeP. All well at Crunchie towers Grin

poorpaws · 27/05/2013 23:30

Glad you're all back. Waves to all in gratitude.

Well done on run Crunchie. Don't worry Stuff you won't kill this thread, we're all very into our weight watching. Glad youre still here Neeko and happy shagging Jazz.

Well it will be some time before I go to Morrisons again. I took the WW cream back and had to speak to the Manager in the end. He told me there was only a 30 min out of fridge time on cream and he had no idea how long I had kept it out of the fridge. I was really cross because I'm not in the habit of making things up and I am literally 2 mins car drive away from the store and had actually tried to eat it that same evening I'd bought it. Why on earth would I waste my time making cream go sour to drive up the road especially to take it back. He didn't give a damn that it made me feel awful all night with the nasty taste in my mouth althought it was still well within date. He reluctantly [without apology] gave me my money back but obviously didn't believe me. Actually I am still furious (apparently according to him WW products never go off). Angry I'm mad as hell.

Neeko · 28/05/2013 08:02

poorpaws he sounds terrible. I understand that he must deal with all sorts of chances but would anyone really return cream if there wasn't something wrong with it?? Staff training, anyone?

jazz my fingers and toes are crossed for you!

Crunchie keep running. Those size 14s will be falling down soon!

Well gold clearly went to my head as I fell off the wagon this week. I can't wi today as have both DDS and DD1 has her ballet exam but it's probably just as well. Firmly back on the wagon today and will be back on track by so next week.

Neeko · 28/05/2013 08:02

I spoke too soon. Was up with DS from midnight to 4.30. Raging temp and bad tummy. Moved him into our bed in the end and kicked DH into the bunk bed but it was like sleeping in a furnace. Poor little man. He's missing the first day of his half term football course good job really as it's pissing down out there and I'm now MNing working from home.

DoodleAlley · 28/05/2013 22:51

Can I join please?

I did ww last year but got pg before reaching goal (slow weight loss rather than fast conceiving!!)

Beautiful DD is now seven weeks old and I joined a local we group last Thursday so my first weight in is this week.

I had a tough start to it. DD has bad reflux so I spend all evening with a very unhappy little girl in pain. This is not conducive to cooking from scratch and as a result of a growth spurt making it all worse (fed hourly during waking hours for four days straight) I had an abysmal first two days but I'm on track now and trying to make up for the bad start.

I had a c section and my tummy is still huge and I need to lose weight to (very embarrassingly) get out of my maternity jeans.

So that's me really

poorpaws · 28/05/2013 23:19

welcome Alley.

Well I've truly messed up today. Bugger big binge. Thats about it. Got to get back on track tomorrow for Fridays wi. Bugger.

Neeko · 29/05/2013 07:37

poorpaws here's a kick up the bum for today.

Welcome to Alley and congratulations on your new arrival. I'm super impressed that you are back at ww already. Don't worry the mat jeans will go and some of that tummy will still be swelling. By all means eat healthily but you've recently created life, so don't be too hard on yourself!!

Neeko · 29/05/2013 07:38

Crunchie hope the wee one is better today. It's awful when they are I'll.

thread How did wi go?

Neeko · 29/05/2013 07:39
