Right thought I should put up a new thread as we were getting close to filling up the old one!

Useful Notes and Links:

HD = Hairy Dieter's Recipe Book. Circa £7.00 on Amazon and full of yummy low WW point recipes

We share our yummy low point recipes on this thread

We track our losses weekly on this online spread sheet

The spread sheet also has a tab containing all the WW points for every single recipe in the HD book, courtesy of the lovely OhTheConfusion (for working them out) and AddictedtoCrunchies (for having the foresight to paste them in the spread sheet)

Here's to another thread of amazing losses ladies!!

Thanks poorpaws. Not sure how much under goal I want to be. The first time I did ww I got down to 9st Shock (24lbs lighter than goal Shock ) but that was years ago and before the kids.
I literally have a wardrobe full of size ten clothes that I'd like to get back into . I can get some on but they aren't fit for public viewing. I'm just going to keep trying and see where I get to before my hols, enjoy a fortnight in Florida and pick back up when I return. It really depends on where the next few pounds come off of.
Have told myself that by first Sept I am going to accept my size (assuming I'm a healthy weight ) and get rid of all the tiny clothes, but we'll see if I do Wink

Well done Flatmouse. Hope you have a lovely holiday. Very Envy of the running. 3rd session at the chiropractor today. Hope to be back out pounding the pavements again soon.

Welcome Nelly. How long is it since you did ww? The plan has changed quite a bit since I first did it 9 years ago. Might be worth doing a pay as you go for a couple of meetings to get back into it until you get nearer to goal. I know that's a but unfair in the ww corporation but ...

PiHigh · 20/05/2013 14:01

Well done Jazz. 2st is amazing.

I lost 3lbs this week so I'm pretty happy. Dh has also lost a fair bit too and he's really happy because it's obvious he's lost weight iykwim (his trousers were feeling loose this morning)

NoMoreMarbles · 20/05/2013 14:25

Hi :)

i think i need a bit of moral support and reading through some of the thread...it looks like i may have found a place to settle :)

I have been on WW since April 2012 but didnt stick to it from June-Nov (17th Nov to be exact) i started off at 17st 6lb (im 5'5") and dropped about 9lb until i fell off the wagon...i had a shock in nov 2012 when a group work photo showed just how fat i had become (i looked about 6mo preg and i was holding my stomach inSad) i immediately decided to get back to WW and do some excercise...i weighed myself the next morning and was 17st 2lb so i had gained 5lb of my 9lb loss...

i have stuck religiously to WW since (except for a break over xmasWink) and im now 14st 10lb...i have been at this weight for 3 weeks and sticking to my 32 pts no cheating etc...im stuck.

any tips? im really trying not to get disheartened...i have been going to the gym 3-4 times per week for the last 4 weeks and i want this to help...i dont want to have muscle and fat...i want to be toned and slim (dont we all!Smile)

anyway thats me...

Nellymay · 20/05/2013 15:08

thanks everyone Neeko i did ww in 2010 - followed the free choice (can't remember what it was called) not the pro points. i ate lots of fruit, veg fish and chicken etc and lost about 2.5 stone. i did wonder about signing up for the online ww and cancelling my payments when i got the hang of it , what do people think?

PiHigh · 20/05/2013 15:12

Nellymay I did that last year. I think it would have been ok (had a reasonable selection of recipes that I used by then and knew the points value of. However not long after I cancelled I got tonsillitis really badly and could only manage jelly for about a week and I think that triggered my craving of sweet sugary stuff and I just never got back in the swing of it. That's why I've rejoined.

AddictedtoCrunchies · 20/05/2013 15:22

Welcome Marbles you've done incredibly well. Not sure I've got any advice as I'm usually the one seeking it. But stick to it - don't give up. Someone wiser will be along soon Thanks

poorpaws · 20/05/2013 20:50

Ooohh I'm not wiser.

Welcome Nelly and Marbles.

Well done Flatmouse, that's very impressive.

Paws pause for thought : one step at a time, the tortoise wins the race. Smile

I'm having lunch out tomorrow, should stick to jacket potato but I'll report back tomorrow night. I have been quite good this week but it's early days.

KateSpade · 20/05/2013 21:25

Well, i've had quite a good day,

Oatibix breakfast 5 points - anyone recommend any other 'filling' breakfasts, i resent spending 5 points on oatibix!

Home made soup - nothing, maybe 1 point as potato in it + 2 toast 4/5 points

Tea of 'kebab' thing 6 points + 3 points worth of Chips.

So 19 points all together & I went Spinning in the morning and 2 hours playing football with my toddler.

poorpaws · 20/05/2013 22:51

Bloody hell my microwave blew up tonight, its about 18 months old. Aw I'll have to make porridge in a pan tomorrow, hate doing it that way.

AddictedtoCrunchies · 21/05/2013 11:01

Good luck with the washing up Paws Smile

Nothing much to report from Crunchie Towers. Still counting and went for a run last night. Optimistic of a loss on Saturday.

Have a great day lovely people.

Neeko · 21/05/2013 13:37

I got to GOAL!!! So pleased. Actually got 1.5lbs under...

flatmouse · 21/05/2013 13:55

Fantastic Neeko, well done!

Am old today - managed to avoid cake (which i'd made anyway), but have had pub lunch and have steak marinading for tonight (but will eat with salad) - will be using some weeklies though as tonight there will be mid-week drinking!!

Kate sometimes i have fruit instead of cereal (particularly if having more for lunch - like today), but i think you are supposed to have a good few pp for breakfast - how about a poached egg on toast, or an omelet?

Crunchie i was supposed to run last night, but have been a bit dizzy lately so gave it a miss - hoping to get out again tomorrow.

Paws having got used to microwave porridge it is such a faff in a pan - best get a replacement quick!

Neeko · 21/05/2013 14:07

Thanks Flatmouse

Hope you have a lovely day today.

NoMoreMarbles · 21/05/2013 14:29

Neeko · 21/05/2013 19:40

Thanks guys Smile Your support has been really helpful and I'll be sticking around for a while yet! Grin

nomoremarbles just take it one weigh in at a time. You'll be amazed how quickly you'll get there.

KateSpade · 21/05/2013 20:29

Oh, yeah Thats a good idea flat Tomorrow i will have poached egg on WW bread.

But, however i put half on this week, which is utter shite, as i'd been really good. Confused

Neeko · 21/05/2013 21:22

katespade are you sure you are eating enough? How many points are you on a day? I only ask because you mentioned 19 points and I thought the minimum daily on pro points was 26?
Fwiw I find I get what I've earned the week after I've earned it so maybe you'll lose a lot next week.

AddictedtoCrunchies · 22/05/2013 08:27

Just popped on to say I'M WEARING MY SIZE 14 TROUSERS Grin Grin Grin

They're a bit snug around the bum but I feel fantastic Grin

Hi everyone, just checking in quickly. Sorry not to name-check, I'm on phone.

WI today & I lost 1lb - really please as I've struggled this week but going to use all your tips & try to have a more positive week. Chatted to team leader & said I still feel huge & can't seem to feel pleased with my weight loss. She suggested looking at how much I've lost & setting myself mini-goals instead of focussing on target weight & feeling like its so far away.

I need to lose 3lbs to get to 2stone weight loss so that's my next mini-target & hoping to do that in next 2 weeks.

I've bought loads of fruit & veg to snack on & got some mini crunchies for my chocolate fix but DH has hidden them so I have to ask him for them - sounds stupid but will stop me scoffing the lot one day while he's at work.

Hope everyone having a good week Grin

Neeko · 22/05/2013 21:52

Well done rightsaid and also poppy. Sounds like you're in the zone now. Almost 2st is phenomenal. You should be really proud. Good idea getting the chocolate hidden.

Crunchie Fab news on the trousers!

I've fallen off the wagon today. Goal has gone to my head and sweets and chip shop chips have gone into my mouth? To be fair some idiot workman dug a huge hole outside my house and cut the power cable so I couldn't cook, but still. Starting again tomorrow.

poorpaws · 22/05/2013 23:44

Wow I leave you all for one day and look how fantastic you all are.

Very well done Neeko, it's a great feeling getting to goal.
Crunchie ~ size 14s will be loose soon, you are doing brilliantly.

I've been busy faffing with microwave shopping. Long story, got one it was crap, went to several other shops etc etc but today I've got one from Sainsburys and it was half price so quite good. It's quite basic but cooked my ww sticky toffee pud and custard well enough for me to scoff it down in record time.

I've had two lunches out in a row so not been brilliant. Found a nice new cafe where I had jacket potato with coronation chicken. OMG it was massive! So today I had a ham sandwich in a local cafe but ended up in M and S cafe as well for a scone (but I resisted the carrot cake which I absolutely adore). I've also gained a ton of activity points trying to find a microwave. Day off tomorrow I think.

Keep on keeping on folks, you're doing just great.

ohayeiluvstuff · 23/05/2013 16:21

Hey all!

Can I join you? I've been on weight watchers propoints plan for 4 weeks now. Have my 4th weigh in this evening, eek! 8.5lb down so far around 30lb to go.

Feeling pretty focused for now although have had a few days that I have really struggled. Will be great to be able to hop on here for a little support along the way.
