i'm not convinced by tankinis. but then i am long in the body and my concern is that i'd have to keep pulling it down. i really like my swimming cossie, mind.

BudaisintheZONE · 10/05/2010 06:12

Morning!

Do you lot ignore your families and real life??? I can't keep up.

Anyway...

Su - sounds like you had a great weekend. Pressies sound nice.

Aitch - like the round-up. Well done. Must have been bloody hard this week with all the political crap discussions.

DH put new batteries in my scales and I am now weighing heavier! Back up to 102.3 this morning. Weekend was good except for the 3 bites of brownie on Saturday and a roast potato with dinner last night. I even sat and watched DH and DS have Mars Bar ice creams and was not tempted. I knew it would not make me happy.

Food wise though I think I may need to think about fat content a bit more and portion size so that is plan for this week. Am going to make soup this morning - have a load of frozen veg that needs using so will make with that. Dinner tonight will be salmon and roast veg.

Themasterandmargaritas · 10/05/2010 06:35

Su Happy Birthday. A bit late sorry but it sounded like fun.

I've been so far off the zone I've been to ashamed to visit you all.

But tis a new week. And I've decided I'm not drinking alcohol again. Ever.

You are all doing so brilliantly.

VoulezVouzCrochezAvecMoiCeSoir · 10/05/2010 06:48

hello stranger tmam! Have youbeen naughty?

Buda, that sucks, but you were still losing, even if it wasn't as much. I hate my scales, i can weigh 3lb heavier at the end of the day, ugh.

Woken up in spare bed with dd2, who cried for over2 hours before i caved. Feel like big pile of poo today.

VoulezVouzCrochezAvecMoiCeSoir · 10/05/2010 07:37

Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaark, DD1 just fell down the stairs top to bottom rollign sideways. how she didn't crack her skull or break a limb is completely beyond me.

Not driven me to food though!

Tempesta · 10/05/2010 07:37

SHIT hope she's ok

cocolepew · 10/05/2010 07:40

Is she ok?

Themasterandmargaritas · 10/05/2010 07:42

No! Poor wee thing. They are like rubber when they are tiny. Are you both ok?

VoulezVouzCrochezAvecMoiCeSoir · 10/05/2010 07:46

I started an AIBU, she seems fine, I am still shaking.

No school today then!

dinkystinky · 10/05/2010 08:38

God, hope she's ok Jack! DS1 fell down the stairs on his birthday too - what is it with bloody 4 year olds and stairs. They should know how to manoeuvre them by now. Shook us up more than him though. Give her preventative dose of calpol and keep close eye - sure she'll be fine though once over bruising.

Am giving up booze for next 2 weeks as scales moving up not down. Aargh. Concerted anti-biffing attempt starts here.

VoulezVouzCrochezAvecMoiCeSoir · 10/05/2010 08:54

Doesn't even appear t be bruising, very weird.
After minor biff yesterday with jam and banan bread am still 16 1 on 'opfficial' day, so all good!
Off out now, don't fill up the thread now!

BudaisintheZONE · 10/05/2010 09:37

Oh Jack. Poor DD. And poor you. It is horrible when they fall like that. So scary.

Right just been to take DS to school and had to stay for second viewing of his assembly, took recycling on way back and am now starving. Just had a couple of slices of turkey and am having a cuppa before taking the dog for a walk. Going to take her to to do the 5K loop I did on Saturday.

I am planning on being EXTRA zone-ish this week as it's my birthday on Saturday and I am out on Friday night with some friends and then out again on Saturday night with DH and DS and there is a fun day on at school on Sunday. Could biff all weekend but am determined not to. I figure if I am super good till Friday evening I should be ok. And then I will try to be restrained over the weekend and hopefully not do too much damage.

Tempesta · 10/05/2010 12:11

sorry but LOL at us all still calling Jack "Jack" instead of new name

BariatricObama · 10/05/2010 12:14

i was bifftastic this weekend. my dodgey back went adn i self medicated with biffing!

hope your dd is ok jack.

Aitch · 10/05/2010 12:29

to all the biffers, i personally think that mixing things up sometimes is a good thing, so long as you remember the ultimate goal (of not looking like a balloon at swanky french wedding).

hope dd's okay jack. horrid when they tumble like that.

Tempesta · 10/05/2010 12:30

Aitch · 10/05/2010 12:32

BudaisintheZONE · 10/05/2010 12:35

Tempesta - it's ok. Not up to your usual standard!

Tempesta · 10/05/2010 12:37

Romeo (keeping the Shakespeare theme)

Just had a really nice lunch. Oatcakes and extra light philadelphia, with half a strawberry plonked on top. Tasted like a completely fun-free cheesecake.
