oh my goodness, I can't keep up with all this posting

Cheese, good job on the size 10s

Bob, stay away from the shops, reach for that carrot instead or fruit tea infusion

THE POLLING STATION had a lady selling homemade cakes and a friend was there with her DD saying 'sit down and join us" and I had to run home asap to eat an apple

Am making a tomato soup for tomorrow , yum yum

Am wondering about shredding too

bobbiewickham · 06/05/2010 15:00

Thanks, ladies...I think the moment has passed...

DarrellRivers · 06/05/2010 15:04

phew

BudaisintheZONE · 06/05/2010 16:03

Blew up ball and am sitting on it now. Well wobbling really. It's supposed to be good for core muscles I think.

Am not feeling very hungry today. Just had a banana.

Trying to remember to drink more water. Hoping loss will be good tomorrow! Fingers crossed.

CybilLiberty · 06/05/2010 16:53

dh is late back tonight so I am eating like i always do when he is not here..standing up, leaning against the worktop in the kitchen. Stuffing oatcakes covered with egg mayo into my gob.

Buts thats it now till tomorrow

Unless I get peckish later, of course.....

CheeeseOnToast · 06/05/2010 16:54

Not holding out much hope for tomorrow.

Despite being so good this morning (special k for breakfast, walk to gym, 45 mins pilates, 2.5km run and then a 3k run back home) for no apparent reason i just sat and ate about 8 rich tea biscuits. I even had a salad when i got in, to stave off the hunger. It worked, but as I was putting the balsamic vinegar back the biscuit tin took total control. WHYYYYYY???!!!!! Don't usually have biscuits in the house, it's only because I get fed up of DP moaning "why's there nothing good to eat?"

So I am cross now. I have drunk (drank?) just over a litre of water today so far so doing ok on that front. I'll just have to be good for the rest of the day and pray I haven't done too much damage.

I'm going to do the roast chicken with garlic thyme and lemon for dinner, I'll have brocolli and spring greens with it and that'll be it. No after dinner anything.

BudaisintheZONE · 06/05/2010 17:13

Did you have any protein with the salad Cheeese? You need to make your salads filling. Your dinner sounds lovely. You have inspired me for tomorrow! Which is great as I hate figuring out what to have.

Am becoming zone obsessed. Have turned down a night out tomorrow night. A fish and chip night. Can't get fish and chips here in Budapest and there is an organised night at a fab hotel and all the fish and chips and drink you want. Have said no as I know I will eat and drink too much if I go. The old Buda would be going and would use the fact of the night as an excuse to pig out all day before hand as not point in dieting and then 'start on Monday'. New Buda is saying NO.

DukesOfTripHazard · 06/05/2010 17:18

Flip Buda. You is working it!!!

CybilLiberty · 06/05/2010 17:20

dont become boring Buda. why not just have a calorifically Amish day and then go out? thats what Cindy crawford does

CheeeseOnToast · 06/05/2010 17:21

Well done Buda, that is indeed bowing to the Zone! Good work.

No protein with the salad... do you mean like chicken or something? It had a few pickled baby beetroots, spring onions, yellow pepper, lettuce, and then vinegar dressing. Should I have had some protein then? Would a bit of cheese work or is meat best for post-gym eats?

OP posts:
CybilLiberty · 06/05/2010 17:22

protein will fill you up more

no one wants to get inspiration from my stuffing egg mayo and oatcakes in the gob recipe then?

smallishsheep · 06/05/2010 17:27

yep, protein is your friend, I try and keep some chicken and cheese in the fridge so I always have something good to eat should i feel the need. Am loving cucumber atm as well.
It always seems such a dull thing to me, but I've got through two in two days, dipping it in salsa. Yummmmm.
I waltzed past cupcake man with barely a doe eyed look backward glance. Zone

BudaisintheZONE · 06/05/2010 17:29

I get you Cybil. But Cindy Crawford looks like Cindy Crawford. I look like Dawn French! I need to do it this way now. Next week it's my birthday and I will break out then. On 29th I have a ball to go to. I have a dress I need to look better in.

Cheeese - yes - chicken or tuna or some low fat feta or something. Cheese is high in fat so you would need to limit it. I often do a tuna salad with chopped whatever salad bits I have and some kidney beans. Makes it more filling. Also makes it low GI - releases energy slowly.

DukesOfTripHazard · 06/05/2010 17:40

By the way Sainsbos does milk with orange lid. Is in middle of skimmed and semi. I like.

Bob, you got talked in off the ledge!

I'm doing chicken that I marinaded in teryaki, lemon, ginger, chili and tom puree.

I am forgoing pasta on account of small flapjack incident. Mucho vegetation.

JackBauerIsZonerrific · 06/05/2010 17:43

Well done Buda and bobs on biff avoidance! Great stuff!
I have pots of grilled chicken and smoked mackerel in the fridge for protein snacks, and occasionally a boiled egg.
Runny poached egg is lush on salads too.

I just had citrus rainbow trout with mega stir fry for tea. Suddenly realised that even though I have been mooching around bored all day and just playing jigsaws/lego with DD's all I had for 'lunch' was 2 apples and an orange. And I didn't notice. Weird.
Trout was awesome, so awesome in fact that after finishing mine I scarfed teh DD's leftovers but LEFT the new pots and butter they had. Awesomeo.

Aquacise later, not been drinking enough so hoping that jumping around like a tit in the pool will absorb water in

gherkinwithapurplemerkin · 06/05/2010 18:20

Turned down cake in staffroom today.
Am doing Frenchie Protien Thursdays at the mo - seems to shake evrything up and obv helps with friday weighins.

Today - baked beans for breakfast, large boewl of salad with roast beef slices for lunch. Chunk of cheese as a snack.
That's it, might have a bot more cheese later. Am peckish but far from starved. Did this last thu and week before and it was ok.

Well done to those who avoided biffage today.

JackBauerIsZonerrific · 06/05/2010 18:30
