Oh I can strut around in heels for hours too.

Is it bad that I can enter my 16 digit credit card number without looking it up? Thought they would look okay on chillyish days with dress and tanned coltish legs

arf

CybilLiberty · 06/05/2010 19:00

gherkinwithapurplemerkin · 06/05/2010 19:06

pointydog · 06/05/2010 19:27

SuSylvester · 06/05/2010 19:27

i know understand the term bored to death

pointydog · 06/05/2010 19:29

My mother came over (to cover polling station childcare issue) and brought home made millionaire's shortbread. I reisited the half slice she had left out for me but then snaffled it as I was waiting for tea to cook.

I curse you, mother!

duckyfuzz · 06/05/2010 19:29

evening ladies

lovely boots cyb, I may succumb (I too know my credit card number, expiry date and that security thing at the back off by heart)

well done on resisting biffage bobbie

ham sandwich for lunch and just had chicken salad, no gym today, sainsbos instead, does that count?

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 06/05/2010 19:29

Guilty or Not?

CybilLiberty · 06/05/2010 19:30

oh blimey poor you. Why didnt you wear a pair of these?

they wouldnt make you look weird at all

DarrellRivers · 06/05/2010 19:39

I have returned all clothes purchased on Tuesday and have battered credit card online rather than eating the delicious chewy choc chunk biscuits on the top of the cupboard.

I don't know 16 figure off by heart
Am envious of those who do, that save valuable time purchasing on line

dinkystinky · 06/05/2010 19:56

Cyb - I like the boots - v smart looking, not comfy! I know my card no off by heart too - definitely a sign off too much online shopping.

Darrell - good substitute calorie free biffing on clothes.

Cheese - yes you need protein in your salads post gym and a little carbs too or you will end up biffing as body will suddenly be hit by a craving that is impossible to resist. Turkey is good - lean meat, not much fat - or eggs or chicken or fish - or anything protein based really.

SuSylvester · 06/05/2010 20:06

not
due in part to the process of attrition i think

bobbiewickham · 06/05/2010 20:08

I can do the card thing too

Thanks to all of you who stopped me in my biffing tracks this afternoon. That's why this thread is so brilliant - I would have seriously gone for it without you lot.

I've been having a bit of cheese on an oatcake as a snack, because I don't eat meat. It's satisfying.

BudaisintheZONE · 06/05/2010 20:13

I know card number and all details off by heart too. DH most unimpressed when I showed off said party trick!

Feeling nibbly so eating an apple. Dinner was left over lamb, chickpea and barley thingie from yesterday with some roasted veg that was in fridge.

DH away tonight so not having wine either. Better have a good loss tomorrow.

DukesOfTripHazard · 06/05/2010 20:25

Good luck for tomorrow losers.

I am estimating a net gain

DukesOfTripHazard · 06/05/2010 20:26

Dinky the trainer must have called you to find out fat range

bobbiewickham · 06/05/2010 20:27

Do we like these?

I need a cross body bag and I came across these.

Geek chic - or just geek?

I like the navy one

Aitch · 06/05/2010 20:28

haha trip i was totally convinced there, didn't realise that i'd stepped into an homage.

duckyfuzz · 06/05/2010 20:30

I like them bobbie

Aitch · 06/05/2010 20:30

bobbie find out the weight, i recently considered using an old satchel i had but was ASTONISHED at how heavy it was. couldn't use it in the end.

dinkystinky · 06/05/2010 20:32

Abit too old school for my taste Bobs am afraid. Sure they're v nice though.

bobbiewickham · 06/05/2010 20:33

That's interesting, aitch, I never thought of that.

I thought I could use it for college come September.

I need something strong, I paid a fortune for a squashy leather cross body bag from Jigsaw just after Christmas, and it's crap. Strap hanging off, falling to bits. But I overload bags, so partly my fault.

They are nice, aren't they, ducky? Am tempted.

dinkystinky · 06/05/2010 20:34

Jesus - we're infested with mice. Just seen another run around in our living room. Aargh. Peanut butter, chocolate and pancetta not working. Will be trying raisins next. Hope catch the mice before DH loses a finger or two setting the traps.

bobbiewickham · 06/05/2010 20:35

What do they make a beeline for in your kitchen?

Load the trap with that.
