Buda, think I might have exact same breakfast as you.

BudaisintheZONE · 05/05/2010 09:25

Good taste ZA!

Bobbie - presents sound nice.

Am off to walk dog and then have to go and collect DH's car which was being serviced. Will walk there too.

Aitch · 05/05/2010 10:11

agree about the potential for waist problems on the dress front. but do feel that i am losing weight off the rib area which might give appearance of waist in right dress.

cyb you look absolutely lovely, and so young and pert, i can't believe you ever needed to go on a diet at all, you just don't look like you've ever been even slightly lardy. i like orange as well, it's such a joy colour.

Themasterandmargaritas · 05/05/2010 11:51

Happy Birthday Bobs.

And congratulllaaaaatttiooonnss to the Grand Fromage.

A bit low here today, so to perk myself up I ran 10k then I put on a frock and a necklace. Everyone commented on it when on the school run. I guess I must look like a slob normally

Anyone suggest some Happy Foods?

ZoneArmatrading · 05/05/2010 12:05

Sorry you're low Master. Oats? Some kind of porridge. Stay right away from the sugar.

BudaisintheZONE · 05/05/2010 12:18

Sorry you are low too Themaster. Bananas and turkey are supposed to have something that boosts serotonin levels.

Will a giggle make you feel better? Took the dog for a walk this morning and I take her onto a green area where I can let her off the lead. Finish walk and wandered up a quiet lane. Got her to stop and sit on verge so I could but lead back on. She suddenly jumped up with a leap and a yelp. She had only sat on an ants nest!!!!! Her bum was covered!

DarrellRivers · 05/05/2010 12:24

Buda, your poor DS

I have promised to make biscuits with DD and friend after school.
See here

Any recipes and more importantly how do i cope making them with chunks of white chocolate and not eating them all afterwards?
Am scared

BudaisintheZONE · 05/05/2010 12:38

Thanks Darrell. Am sure he is getting lots of attention at school so that might help. And teacher said this morning that for the week they do SATs there may well be no point in him being there at all so he may get a week off school. He will love that.

I don't think I could make biscuits without eating. Baking is something I have to gear myself up to so I would want to have some. Mind you not keen on white chocolate!

JackBauerIsZonerrific · 05/05/2010 12:51

Hey guys, happy biffday bobs!

Need serious arse kicng, am weighing 2lb heavier already this week
Small bowl muesli and butternut squash susoup for lunch. sTeak for tea, will have stir fry with mine.
Wish i could go fors run but dh doing ridiculous hours, he should be back 4ish so might go beforetea if he's not too knackered to watch girls.
Sorry about, ds buda, sounds like complete pita for you.

Anyone else having issues with people trying to corruptyou? Dh is being fab and v supportive butwas at pta coffee thing just now + won a pack of aero mint bars. I told them to pick again but they were trying to force them on me, and then i felt like biggest funsucker for refusing, grrr.

DarrellRivers · 05/05/2010 12:57

Jack, women are the worst at doing this
And smokers (obviously fags not food though)

ZoneArmatrading · 05/05/2010 13:07

lol at funsucker. I'm desperate for exercise too. Like caged animal. Been mad at it with deadline. Just coming free now. But DD1 off school.

Cheese typical. You join a gym and then can't go because you've got a ruddy job well done btw.

dinkystinky · 05/05/2010 13:27

TMAM - Mangoes are my ultimate happy foods. Could eat them all day - not the huge green ones you get but the little juicy orange ones. Heaven. So excited that our excellent corner shop is starting to stock them again. Hurrah..

Darrell - good luck with the choc chunks. Tis for this reason that DH is the baker in our house - he can resist all that somehow. Weirdo.

Jack -up the water and keep up the excellent work and those 2lbs will go.

dinkystinky · 05/05/2010 13:27

p.s. Aitch - that M&S dress is lovely too. Wrap dress and pattern will I think be v flattering.

EricPicklesFatNeck · 05/05/2010 13:38

hullo! happy biffday bobbie! well done cheese on the job.

master, how fast do you run your 10k? i have been running loads and am completely knackered so planned a 2 day break. i did cycle all morning so my break isn't really working out.

i am back to my nemesis weight so will try to zone today

ZoneArmatrading · 05/05/2010 15:56

Elections make me really hungry

CybilLiberty · 05/05/2010 16:11

Jack dont let the BISCUIT PIGS drag you down to their level. I had ONE piece of carrot cake as part of my 'bring birthday cakes into work' routine last week. A smidge of a piece.

Then sat back and smirked at the pigs in the trough.

Maintain that moral highground.its what will get you through . And lets face it, Mint aeros never taste as good as you imagine...

DarrellRivers · 05/05/2010 16:13

Am fighting the biscuit making devils currently
They are in the oven, and i did not have any chunkage, just a slither of a scrape from the bowl
Have big cup of tea, will frantically sip, when get out of oven

noddyholder · 05/05/2010 16:19

I have bought diet pepsi as I am not allowed diet coke !I can't seem to get through the afternoon without cake if I don't have it Nightmare.

CybilLiberty · 05/05/2010 16:21

I ahve been snorting crack cocaine as I am not allowed heroin

dinkystinky · 05/05/2010 16:24

Lol at Cyb and Noddy

Come on Noddy - if Coco can kick her wotsit habit you can kick your coke/cake habit.

noddyholder · 05/05/2010 16:28

{grin] It is like methadone because its not 'the real thing' but gives the same effect. It stops me eating

CybilLiberty · 05/05/2010 16:31

no nodders ONLY YOU can stop you eating. the cake does not leap up into your gob.

why not stop buying cake?

CheeeseOnToast · 05/05/2010 16:32

I've been coke-free for 8 days now.

Can anyone help me with this thread about whats the most unbiased 'how to vote' poll?

Someone's replied but I don't understand their answer
