Yes it is pointy, so eating half wasn't that much of a sacrifice!

cyb · 02/05/2010 13:49

jack if no bread I woudl make a little salado in a pot and take a fork with me. or crackers houmous and carrot sticks. Soup in a wide necked flask with a cup could work if you sat down rather than walking around!

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 02/05/2010 13:49

Loving questions - who's doing the answering?!

pointydog · 02/05/2010 13:50

cocktail info - too much

pointydog · 02/05/2010 13:50

I think su - let's hope she has nothing on this afternoon

chibi · 02/05/2010 13:51

Bit o biff yesterday took dd to cafe + cinema

Had 1.5 slices wholewheat toast
sausage sandwich at cafe
v small bag of salty popcorn
3egg omelet with ham+mushroom with side of asparagus for dinner

today
1.5 slices wholewheat toast
3egg omelet as per yesterday but with a smidge of cheddar
tonight child size portion of veg+seafood paella

Reading this over it looks a bit crap, I think I know why I am plateauing

I did ru. 5k yesterday + went to pilates today

JackBauerIsZonerrific · 02/05/2010 13:51

Am trying to avoid bread as it's my downfall, find it really har to stop at one slice.
Also I don't normally have carbs with evening meal, only have it with breakfast.
I think, considering the amount of weight I have lost now, I will keep it up as much as I can!

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 02/05/2010 13:52

Could be here a while!

bobbiewickham · 02/05/2010 13:52

Eggs yes, but can't have too many as they give me a headache

God knows why.

JackBauerIsZonerrific · 02/05/2010 13:53

pd, I know, but never go out so was reliving lost youth...

JackBauerIsZonerrific · 02/05/2010 13:54

When you say crackers so you mean like jacobs cream or ryvita?

chibi · 02/05/2010 14:00

I empathize bobs I am carboqueen too and comfort eat, I gained weight after ds was born ha bloody ha

I can't do no carb hence the toast but that is it-enough to give me my fix but not so much that it bloats etc

No ideas on comfort eating, I try to run now when I feel like crap , am aware of how pollyannasunshine this sounds

eggs are good for protein also lentils v meaty and filling, do you like falafel?

pointydog · 02/05/2010 14:09

I just don't snakc in teh evening any more.

But I'm v hungry when I get in from work so I have either a banana or a chopped apple (so much more appealing when chopped) or I have pickled beetroot which I love.

cocolepew · 02/05/2010 14:11

Dark rye ryvita are very filling especially with peanut butter on them.

pointydog · 02/05/2010 14:13

oat cakes are good and healthy

cocolepew · 02/05/2010 14:13

Why are apples more appealing cut up? I got a slicer thing fom Ikea it would be perfect if it peeled them as well.

pointydog · 02/05/2010 14:14

they are like little dinky crunchy morsels when cut, aren't they, rather than a huge gobstopper that will strip all your lipstick off

cocolepew · 02/05/2010 14:14

I'm not a fan of bananas but M&S small fairtrade ones are delicious.

MailyDail · 02/05/2010 14:14

HELLO ALL CHECKING IN, ill and in bed
glad you had great party, cyb

pointydog · 02/05/2010 14:15

I also peel it before I chop. I know the skin is good roughage but I just love it all naked and chopped

pointydog · 02/05/2010 14:16

ill and in bed? That sound sgrim

cocolepew · 02/05/2010 14:17

When I'm a millionaire I'm going to employ a fruit peeler.

Wonder if Brad Pitt is free ?

cocolepew · 02/05/2010 14:18

Proper ill or wine ill?

Hope you're feeling better soon.

cocolepew · 02/05/2010 14:19
