Oh and I'm a September birthday, but unlike Smallishsheep I'm a Virgo. Don't know enough about Virgos to make a pithy weight/eating-related comment!

cyb · 02/05/2010 10:50

smallish sheep the leg stuff was Sally HAnson airbrush legs, I have veins, bulgy ones too, blotchy bits and the like and it made a grand job of covering them up. You spray it into your hand then madly rub, blended great.

Bear in mind though it was a candle lit bar I was poncing around in , not broad daylight on the high Street , so light more forgiving.

yes mama it was Su's whore Tesco shoes, I couldnt walk in them but could dance...weird that?

smallishsheep · 02/05/2010 10:58

That's the problem cyb, I need something for the day that won't make people say 'omg what's that on your legs???' I would prob be v embarrassed and make out I had sat in something. Damn my genes

cyb · 02/05/2010 11:00

what is it, birthmark? or ropey veinage?

smallishsheep · 02/05/2010 11:31

cyb, tis stretchmarks Between that and my stomach, I was properly ruined by pregnancy Am only a youngun as well.
They are pretty thin and silvery, but they look like they run quite deep iyswim. Am just stuck with calf length things once the opaques get put away I htink. Once again, fuck my life.

ZoneArmatrading · 02/05/2010 11:35

aquarius
Glad party rocked cyb.

muesli: make own. jumbo oats, dried fruit, nuts.

up since 5 too. work, work, work. Half an hour of kids tv might not look like rocket science but is no mean feat to get on the page.

Mum's birthday tomorrow. Marquee up. Band and catering booked. Outfit back to to square one. Thermals?

I am still goal weight.

DarrellRivers · 02/05/2010 11:56

za-boots and waterproofs
I got soaked on the way home last night

gherkin, will check out Dotty Ps
Satin sounds lovely
Have always liked DPs, have found occasional tip-top find and no-one ever seems to shop there apart from me

DarrellRivers · 02/05/2010 11:56

aquarius as well

ZoneArmatrading · 02/05/2010 12:28

darrell is this still the age of Aquarius? Given that in the 70s it was the dawning of the age of Aquarius?

pointydog · 02/05/2010 12:36

now we are getting down to the serious stuff - horoscopes. I am silvery pretty fishie pisces, can't you tell?

Now, this morning I weighed 11 st 0.5lb and was hip happy. Then I just popped on again 20 mins ago and was back to 11 2. In between times I had brekkers (boiled egg, slice toast with butter and satsuma and o juice) and cleaned the bathroom. Does inhaling bleach make ypu put on weight?

pointydog · 02/05/2010 12:36

I have great affinity with aquarians

CheeeseOnToast · 02/05/2010 13:03

ZoneA wouldn't it work out expensive making it yourself? A bag of dried fruit in say H&B is £££.

Oh and ZA After your post about your work this morning I'm interested in what you do - i am an ex-journo trying to get into the publishing (books) industry, I did a screenwriting course this year - how did you get into writing for kids tv? If you think it will out you/give TMI then don't worry, I'm just intrigued.

SuSylvester · 02/05/2010 13:13

SuSylvester · 02/05/2010 13:15

this afternoon we will have a serious deiting Q AND A session
ONLY DIET chat i think to motivate plateu ers and scare biffers

I will get the staple gun

how about that?
please post qs wiht * so we can see them and all bully you.

pointydog · 02/05/2010 13:16

making own muesli is dead cheap. a packet each of nuts, various seeds and some sultanas lasts for ages. You get many batches of muesli from it. Even adding fancy fruits will work out much cheaper.

SuSylvester · 02/05/2010 13:17

dog
did you post your daily intake as asked yest

pointydog · 02/05/2010 13:17

Q: do you find scales make a big differnce? Should you just stick to the one set? How reliable is the wii fit scale? I am thinking of trying it out.

pointydog · 02/05/2010 13:18

my daily intake for when? Just for yesterday or for every day? I missed that post

SuSylvester · 02/05/2010 13:18

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 02/05/2010 13:23

I've got that sick feeling I get before going into court...

pointydog · 02/05/2010 13:25

ok. Let me think of Friday nand Sat.

Fri

weetabis with semi-skimmed (I am NOT changing to skimmed)
glass o juice
scone (but that was a one-off fundraisign thing, normally have banana)
small ham and cucumber sandwich (usually have small portion of school dinner, not sadnwich)
plain chicken breast with a pork stuffing, lots of broccoli and baby sweetcorn
two satsumas

Sat

2 rollmop herrings
lots of melon
o juice
2 jacobs with houmus
two satsumas
strawberries
chicken breast with chilli ginger and coriander (m&s, delicious and only 250 cals)
cubed taters (only 150 cals)
v small portion trifle

On a normal week day I don't have the trifly, sconey things. But tonight I am going out for curry.

DarrellRivers · 02/05/2010 13:27

Am going out for coffee
Tell me to have herbal tea infusion rather than hot choc with whipped cream

Am back on sensible track today

Porridge
apple/few slices cheese
2 slices brown bread, one marmite/one marmalade

Pasta planned for supper which I am not a fan of so can have small portion

Made mistake yesterday of small lunch which resulted in penguin blow-out

pointydog · 02/05/2010 13:27

I also had some strawberries on fri (omitting the meringues and whipped cream and rasp sauce that every other bugger round the table was eating)

DarrellRivers · 02/05/2010 13:30

1970s coming back en vogue
We will all need to channel our inner age of aquarius
