DD1 and my big sis are both february, too cold for outside party, too near christmas to do anything big, poor eric. Just watched fridays true blood though, naughty sookie. Long may her daydreams continue...

fishie · 02/05/2010 09:26

not as bad as january, when mine is eric. everyone is skint and on the wagon.

i think am hovering on brink of going under 67k. pilates yesterday and my upper arms are killing, instructor is a demon. hopefully it will stop raining and i can go for a nice long muddy run.

have booked holiday camping in brittany so i may emerge from my speedo sculpture.

smallishsheep · 02/05/2010 09:26

dinky, I know far more than catching mice than I should. WHen dd was tiny I saw one out of the corner of my eye in the kitchen, and called my dad to come the next day
The thing you need to do is get an old fashioned mouse trap and bait it with chocolate. And don't expect a nice delicate catching by the tail a la Tom and Jerry either. That thing will do some damage

cyb, I need to know more about airbrush leggy stuff. I almost bought some in Boots last week as I have leg ishoos. I'm not sure it's hardcore enough.

I have put on a pound today I blame the peeing rain and staying in all day eating sausages So no bootsale again. Fingers crossed I can get rid of my crap tomorrow. If not, am very tempted to take it all to the charity shop. All this clutter is messing with my feng shui, man

JackBauerIsZonerrific · 02/05/2010 09:27

Sorry eric, I have just realised I am on another thread adn you are a different eric, wtf is wrong with me this morning! (althoug I stand by my comment, it just will make no sense to you)

smallishsheep · 02/05/2010 09:28

Min is september. Am a libra, which everyone always blames on me never being able to make a decision. I just think I'm inclined to be flaky undecided

EricPicklesFatNeck · 02/05/2010 09:32

fishie - i am still aching from thursday's pilates!

i think poison is th eonly way with mice.

EricPicklesFatNeck · 02/05/2010 09:33

should i get rid of the eric name?

DarrellRivers · 02/05/2010 09:35

Good morning everyone
Spent yesterday feeling was a let down to the thread, it moves so fast and I can't keep up with everyone.
Plus I was tired yesterday afternoon I ate 5 yes 5 penguins at 106 calories each as a snack to keep me going
And then went out for curry, had chicken tikka starter , paneer karahai for main and half a kulfi for pud.
Didn't even dare weigh myself this morning
But I feel so so so much better today however mentally and I am sure a biff out is to be recommended as good for the soul.
And was nice to be away from the baby and to chat to DH unhindered by small children
So will not leave quite yet, although you could all make me very unwelcome and make me leave in the style of the holiday inn meet-up

So for now, will focus on the party next friday
What can I possibly wear that will flatter my current H cups????????????????

smallishsheep · 02/05/2010 09:38

H cups
I miss my boobs. I was a G cup when feeding ds. WHich was only let down by the fact that the rest of me was massive too. Now I have mere C s.
What's the rest of you like?

DarrellRivers · 02/05/2010 09:41

Small
I am out of proportion so look wierd
Dolly Parton esque
Breast feeding the other 2 has nicely decreased me down to a C cup, but I hated my vast cleavage as a teenager
Suspect after this breast feeding I may not have much left bust wise
Typical, either one extreme or the other

smallishsheep · 02/05/2010 09:45

You are the same shape as my friend. I'd go the pinup route and show off those bad boys Heels, pencil skirt and fitted scoop neck.

MamaG · 02/05/2010 09:45

Hi Cyb! Glad you had a lovely party

which Tesco shoes, was it Su's Tesco-whore-chic ones?

I'm a November baby, winter babies rock (sorry August DD )

I've bene up since 5am
Have just earned some MN time by cleaning the whole (big) kitchen and the biggest bathroom

DarrellRivers · 02/05/2010 09:51

Yes, scoop neck v flattering
And have lovely pair of silver shoes
And new gradual tan for lovely glowing legs
But no skirt {thinking cap)

DarrellRivers · 02/05/2010 09:51

Good job on the cleaning

MamaG · 02/05/2010 09:53

I'm glad ou added that (thinking cap) bit DR!!

fishie · 02/05/2010 09:53

ooh our mouse got dead overnight, ds found it this morning. traps are best. nice and quick and no mouse writhing in agony on kitchen floor.

now i have to clear mouse poo out of various drawers and that is an end to it. ds pulled the bits of polystyrene out from around the washing machine pipes which were keeping out mice. dh is convinced it was his stupid ultrasound devices which had kept us mouse free but amazingly the very day after ds unblocked the hole a mouse was in the kitchen. and there is still an ant infestation in front room.

DarrellRivers · 02/05/2010 09:56

could be a winning outfit on a different level

smallishsheep · 02/05/2010 10:01

fishie, how do you know mousie there doesn't have friends....

JackBauerIsZonerrific · 02/05/2010 10:04

Thinking cap sounds a bit...um...short

Hooray for dead mouse. I have bought ant traps after my 'MN fairy liquid around the holes' got boring. It does work though, I just swquirt it into the hole they are getting in and they get stuck and die in agony

Eric, no, it's not a problem except whren I am MNing when v tired. it's EricNorthmansmistress I was thinking off, and I was lusting after eric last night, eric northman that is, not you, oh fuck it, I give up

fishie · 02/05/2010 10:06

sheep cos i blocked up holes... and not enough poo / eatings for more than one. stupid mouse, should have gone back out when it had the chance.

darrell pencil skirt sounds lovely. i always look like an egg on legs in them

gherkinwithapurplemerkin · 02/05/2010 10:10

Dotty perks for surprisingly nice pencil skirts. Got one at chrimbo, slinky satiny stuff, v Mad Men. Needed magic pants (not anymore!!)

CheeeseOnToast · 02/05/2010 10:24

Mornin'.

Ok, quick poll - what is the best muesli? Doing an online shop and I've already got Fruit and Fibre on there but it never lasts cos DP woofs it. What else should I get? I had one once with coconut strips and tropical-y fruit which was nice, but quite sweet. I like berries. Don't like too dusty. Jordons stuff is ok from what I remember... any recommendations?

dinkystinky · 02/05/2010 10:24

Hurrah for your dead mouse fishie. Sheep - ta for the advice. We have ultrasonic thingies out our ears, humane traps, snap traps (x 4) under the cooker (bated with choc, peanut butter, toast etc) and have caught and killed at least 2 of the buggers but they're still around. We're cant block up all the holes in floorboards/kitchen etc, live backing onto a cemetery and know our neighbours on the street also have mice issues so we are buggered I think... At least will save me from going into the kitchen for a while I guess. Tried poison traps for mice (but toddler-proofed ones) but the buggers werent having any of it.

Cyb - glad you had a fab partay and finally got all the compliments - about time! Lol at TMAM and her tequila bottle - sounds like a party and a half was had by TMAM too.

Am an early november birthday.

bobbiewickham · 02/05/2010 10:32

My birthday is on Wednesday - May 5th.

Wouldn't it be funny if we were all Big Biffing Bulls?

Glad your party went well - love the idea of the Style Retrospective.

bobbiewickham · 02/05/2010 10:34

Oh, just read thread properly.

Lots of non-Bulls.

But at least I have my (greedy Taurean) excuse. And I'm sticking to it.
