Oi! It was Zone that cried. I'm too hard to cry. I didn't even sniffle at the JL ad [cracks knuckles]

CheeeseOnToast · 01/05/2010 11:20

Lol at Su's mum's speeding fine!! Brilliant.

Morning gals. Coco - poor you, take it easy today. Hope the boy is ok too, must be distressing for him having to move from a place he feels at ease. Hope your ribs are ok, have you had an xray and stuff? Look after yourself

Cyb - enjoy your partay tonight! Enjoy the day pampering yourself, you'll look fabulous tonight.

Gerks - which celeb chef!? Citing!

We also had people round for dinner last night. DP cooked (he mostly always cooks when we have dinner guests so they assume he always cooks when in fact it's always bloody me) and he did seafood risotto to start and then steak with potato wedges, green beans and peppercorn sauce. Was actually quite good, even though I had to takeover half way through the main course as the smoke alarms kept going off .

Had a shock yesterday though - I bought a baguette from Pret for lunch, ate it all, then thought I'd pop my day's worth of food into Food Focus and I had a deficit of 150 calories. By 5pm. So of course I ate a massive dinner too. So food yesterday was not that bad, just quite a lot of it. Hrmmph.

By way of pennance, I am sitting here in my running gear waiting for my breakfast (porridge) to go down. I have a route planned of 8.5km. Hope I don't die.

Su my mum had so many points on her licence she had to go to one of those workshops in a portacabin in the swimming pool carpark to learn how NOT to speed

SuSylvester · 01/05/2010 11:30

no they are normally in a ncie place afaik

DarrellRivers · 01/05/2010 11:48

My mum is so speedy, I am so suprised she has not had a ticket yet
She used to make me car sick as a passenger when i was pregnant

Coco-hope you feel less bruised and sore soon

Cyb , party hard and i like the purple

Buda, sorry to hear re row with your DH and how sad you are feeling

JB, hope you don't feel too sore of head this morning

I am going out tonight as is anniversary today, so we are off for a meal out in between feeds (so express eating will be the order of the day)
Have slapped on some St Tropez gradual cream and am fairly impressed with the coverage

I still weigh the same

cyb · 01/05/2010 12:55

I'm sorry but TMI

JackBauerIsZonerrific · 01/05/2010 12:55

Get you lot with your parties tonight.

cyb, I am wearing almost exactly the same colour, only mine is collection 200 so is chipped already V nice.

DD2 I am convinced has an ear infection and won't go to anyone else, so no run for me (I feel loads better) as she screams when I leave the room. Docs appt at 2.

Lol at su's speedy mum too.

Breakfast was a maccy d's hash brown, lunch was 2 boiled eggs and an avocado spread on toast. I am biffing too much, Dunno what to have for tea, going to do pasta for girls, might just have stir fry or something, although I want to convince DH to get a chinese in...

smallishsheep · 01/05/2010 13:04

Ew
Surely voted the post most likely to have come from this guy right here

AitchTwoZone · 01/05/2010 13:13

lol at bromide. hasn't she heard of that victoria wood sketch with the three dots...?

ZoneArmatrading · 01/05/2010 13:15

cYB do you think nail polish might have inspired DH's cushion purchase... you do have purple in the house

JackBauerIsZonerrific · 01/05/2010 13:34

Oh dear. Have just read that with my ailing baby daughter on my lap. And I covered her eyes.
I might need more sleep.

dinkystinky · 01/05/2010 14:08

Like the nail polish Cyb. Definitely too much sharing on that thread you linked to- quite put me off my herbal tea. Lol at sheep's comment though. Also lol at the granny nightie that the OP's DH has bought her for their next shenanigans.

JB - poor DD2. Hope the docs give you some abs to sort her out quickly. Poor girl. Not surprised you're craving carbs - you're hungover woman. Drink lots and lots of water (though will prob mean carrying DD2 to the loo with you lots too...)

Have a lovely meal out tonight Darrell. Just did brunch with DH and the boys at lovely local restaurant - they were well behaved but was definitely a one course only amount of goodwill there (and had to get back for DS2's nap before he went all apocalypto anyway). I miss the days when we used to loll over meals and spend hours getting pleasantly sloshed in the sun.... Ho hum. I was v virtuous - water, grilled seabream and nicoise salad without any dressing (and DS2 nomed the baby new potatoes from my salad anyway).

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 01/05/2010 14:23

lol at bromide - nothing like a bit of oversharing and lol at smallish on that thread. Lovely nail colour Cyb.

BudaisintheZONE · 01/05/2010 14:46

Eew to that thread! Def TMI!

Had an indulgent couple of ours listening to a tribute show on RTE 2FM online. Sad but funny moments too.

Back in zone. DH cooked breakfast (before row!) - had one sausage, one piece bacon, one egg, spoonful of beans and a slice of rye bread. Small glass of orange juice.

Snack - banana

Lunch - rye bread, sliced red pepper dipped in hummus.

Did succumb to the last brownie though. DS had 2 with strawberries and there was one left. About an inch and a half square. Made tea and decided to go for it BUT split it with DH. And it was delicious and choclatey and gooey. And the 3 small bites I had were just enough.

BBQing this evening. Well DH is. Will just have salad with it. About 28 degrees and sunny here!

Cyb - have a fabulous time tonight!!! Love that colour on nails. Might have to treat myself to that.

Dinky - lunch sounds nice.

THREAD ANNOUNCEMENT

cna we have an undertsadning that people might jsut read and think and not say " well done mamag on another shit" or somesuch

BudaisintheZONE · 01/05/2010 14:52

Well yes to an extent I agree Su but I am afraid I will always have to comment on a MamaG!!!

Oh - while you are here - can I have recipe for your beetroot and feta salad please??

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 01/05/2010 15:08

I think my stomach has shrunk. Went to pizza express with kids and could only eat half the salado nicoise. Have also purchased a heidi klein bikini in zebra print for hols. Departure from normal black but am taking Su's advice.

SuSylvester · 01/05/2010 15:09

I look just like this ahem

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 01/05/2010 15:34

Am currently supervising DH's online clothing purchases. After years of practice I now take the direct route - yes/no/ffs. Keeps him on the straight and narrow.

CheeeseOnToast · 01/05/2010 15:38
