ReshapeWhileDamp · 13/04/2010 22:13

Cyb, I don't have a Wii either. I barely know what one is.

I think I've dropped another pound, but my cheapo scales make it hard to tell. The dial's so small that I have to lean right over to read it, and when I do that, another half pound comes off.

I got some leggings in the post today (I know how to live) to go with this, but I got size 16 and they bag. Now I've got to slog into town to change them. Might even try the 12s.

AitchTwoZone · 13/04/2010 22:39

i am NOT wearing clown shoes. they're bronze. although i'm actually wearing the birkies right now. [huffy]

BudaisintheZONE · 13/04/2010 23:10

Hi all

Still zoning in Dublin. Am amazed at myself really - usually eat loads of bread and cakes and crisps and biscuits while here but not this time.

B'fast - slice of brown soda bread toasted with butter
Lunch - ~TGI Fridays! Shanghai chicken salad which was yummy
Snack - some olives
Dinner - Spag bol without the spag
2 glasses wine
A protein fruit shake this morning and a juice of apple/carrot/celery/beetroot this aftgernoon.

Aitch - i bought purple birkies today too! Also in TK Maxx. 25 euro though!! Also bought a handbag - stone colour with some metal on. Saw an eldery woman looking at it and couldn't find another one. She was looking at it on her arm and on her other arm and on her shoulder and and and. I hung around for ages to see if she would buy it and then she put it in her basket. DS wanted the loo so took him and by the time i got back she had gone - with the bag i assumed. WAs wandering around and i spotted her again WITHOUT the bag in her basket! I hotfooted it back and hunted and she had put it back on the bottom row behind a load of other bags. Hiding it for later I think. I have it now!!! She was FAR too old for it!

Also bought a nice pair of stone coloured wedge espadrille sandals in another shop.

Bought the JUst Dance game. DS has already told me I am not allowed to do it when he is in the house! Bought another Wii fitness thing.

Went on Viking Spash Tour in Dublin today. Was great fun. On amphibious vehicle pretending to be vikings and shouting at unsuspecting 'celts' having coffee etc. DS enjoyed it.

Then went and had cuddles with my sister's almost 4 month old twins. Very cute.

CrossWords · 13/04/2010 23:11

I am feeling better not having haribo or maynards sours in the house. Its the only way forward for me. Had Quorn sausages and white bean mash, with a chili, ginger and garlic brocolli, for dinner. Actually not craving the sweets as much as usual (would eat them if they were here tho!)

CrossWords · 13/04/2010 23:13

Ha ha ha Buda stealing the bag. Love it!!! Were you in Browns Buda?

AitchTwoZone · 13/04/2010 23:13

they had lovely birkies and scholls today, didn't they? i got dd a pair of white betulas with the three buckles for a tenner. (mine were in the clearance because they were 'slightly imperfect'. chap said it was sweaty feet marks, but who could care, they look fine to me.)

BudaisintheZONE · 13/04/2010 23:25

Crosswords - assume you mean Brown Thomas? Didn't get there as DS was grumpy after TKMaxx shopping. Am heading to Henry St tomorrow - M&S and Arnotts calling.

Aitch - they didn't have that many in the one I was in - was just lucky i think.

Crosswords - your broccoli dish sounds yummy. Do you have a recipe?

ReshapeWhileDamp · 13/04/2010 23:28

Buda - I saw the purple Birkies in TK Maxx the other day and um'd about them. Wish I'd got them now, but it takes me about 3 weeks to break me feet in to wearing Birkenstocks for the summer as it is.

Very envious of the Viking Splash. Sounds fab!

bobbiewickham · 13/04/2010 23:28

Made it out of the dress...

Just.

right im off to Tk maxx today

CheeeseOnToast · 14/04/2010 08:02

Morning one and all.

Seems like most of us could do with some whip-cracking. Yesterday was a bad day for me. Cereal, then really revolting Superdrug sandwich (will never buy food there again, but had no other option yesterday and was so hungry I ate most of it, cheese ham and pickle) bag of baked crisps, ribena, hardly any water. Then went out and had 3 G&Ts and picked from a platter of cured meat, bread and olives. And a few chips.

someone give me a slap? I still don't feel right in the tummy after my bug last week, I need to be eating more healthily than this

CheeeseOnToast · 14/04/2010 08:03

Oh and I don't have a wii either, I'd love to have a dance off!

fishie · 14/04/2010 08:07

these tk birks, are they madrids or what? i need gizeh or my feet bleed.

there have been two small choc easter eggs sitting on my desk for weeks now, i really must give them to someone. not my weakness

cyb · 14/04/2010 08:08

bobbie did you suss the dress out in the end? it should be called the Sudoku not THe Poseiden . But I suppose it was an adventure of sorts.

Buda I do that in shops too...follow people around who are carrying stuff I like. TK Maxx great for that

Dont get this Birkie fasciantion though. I think they are the divvels shoes. Give you claw toes

I am pic nicing today with GIANT parents. I have packed a mouses salado and oatcakes. My Mum will have cats bum mouth (as she gnaws on a Ginsters)

gherkinwithapurplemerkin · 14/04/2010 08:08

SLLAAAPPP! @cheeese
Better?

Still over 11st, about 11st1 now I think. Grr. Still eating almost nothing (feels like that). Gonna have to be susoup 1375 or however you do TM for next few days I think.

fishie · 14/04/2010 08:10

cheeeeese you are thirsty. drink more water / tea / gin. and try protein not cereal for brek (cannot keep away from subject of bacon roll). cereal (even porridge sometimes) really messes my blood sugar up.

gherkinwithapurplemerkin · 14/04/2010 08:12

Ooh Ginsters. I could eat a Ginsters. All that shitey fake foody crap in it.. Actually IT WOULD NOT MAKE ME HAPPY

Wha has made me happy is we bought a kitten yesterday! Grey/black stripy, 8 weeks old. V pleased, our house has been cat-less since we had our ancient mog put down last Sept.Hoping to pick him up this evening or perhaps tomorrow. V cute. Just so small, bit concerned one of my enormous kids will stamp on him...Wanna hrlp me name him? I fancy Sid but the dds disagree.

geordieminx · 14/04/2010 08:28

Morning ladies.

Lost 3lb this week so far I AM IN THE ZONE!!

Have done loads of walking which I think has hhelped, although not much of it by choice

Love love love wii dance, altohugh havent been on for a while as I tend to trample on ds if he is about Think Kim Wilde is the way to go.

Oh and the eye of tiger and beach boys for "looking like a complete twat" factor

dinkystinky · 14/04/2010 08:55

Morning Ladies. Bobbie - reckon you're onto a good idea on your other thread with taking it to a cunning dress maker and getting them to adapt it for you for £20 - you'll end up with a beautifully fitting couture dress (without octopus armholes) that no one else has for a fraction of the price

Cheeeeeeeeeeese - here's one for you - STEP AWAY FROM THE LARD YOU FAT BIFFER You're recovering from your illness last week which is why you pigged out (but if you're going to pig out lady do it in style - NOT with a superdrug sandwich )- but now its time to get back in the zone. Champagne - pasta is ok in moderation. Stop biffing lady and get on the treadmill in the sin bin to do your penance.

Reshape - yay on the leggings being too big. Good luck with the 12s.

Cyb - sending you strength and slimline G&Ts (only 1 ww point a piece, result) to get you through your picnic today.

Buda - LOL at you stalking the old lady for that bag. Now have visions of Su/Shu stalking people in TKMaxx and leaping out yelling "You're too fat for that dress, give it to me"

Gherkin - shake up your diet for a couple of days and try doing something that you dont normally do foodwise to see if it helps with your plateau. Susoup (or my fav - Nigella soup (but without the lard Nigella sticks in)- butternut squash and chicken stock with bit of mace, ground cinnamon and pepper, whizzed up and a tiny bit of creme fraiche added in at the end - yum) for dinner, substantial breakfast, medium sized lunch and LOTS of water.

Geordie - you are zonetastic. Well done!

New discovery yesterday was M&S count on us vietnamese chicken salad - only 2.5 WW points and v filling and yummy. If only the queues at the local M&S near work didnt take up half my lunch break I'd live on those...

AitchTwoZone · 14/04/2010 09:57

nearly back down to pre-wedding weight. not own wedding, natch, the most recent one.

they had piles and piles of scholl and birkie milans, some pale green suede gizahs with white post, some modern design blue and green suede toe post scholls as well, which were really lovely actually but given that i was already buying two pairs of sandals that day i didn't purchase.

MrsShu · 14/04/2010 10:12

lol at vietnamsese salad for all the wrong reasons

its liek a biafran burger in my head.
right
extensiev analysis of scales today, ds1 thinks teh digital onesa re 3lbs over. we also found ds2 is lighter than ds3

so then i am 10 7 on digi scales - in ds1s analysis that is 10 3 - as manuals say

geordieminx · 14/04/2010 10:26

cold and hungry

dinkystinky · 14/04/2010 10:27

Oh Geordie - come on you're in the zone. Drink some herbal tea and distract yourself lady.

Su/Shu - you need some new scales...
