mrsjuan · 13/04/2010 15:44

coco - are you running scared? Why no dancing?

U cant touch this (full version) tonight.

DD went on trip to park with nursery today. Apparently she ate most of the bread for the ducks. That's my girl.

LadyBlaBlah · 13/04/2010 15:47

What is this I hear? You get extra points on WW for exercise? How does this work?

gherkinwithapurplemerkin · 13/04/2010 15:50

Hve done well today except for small piece of coffee cake (yum)
Not really going to eat dinner so rckon it is ok.

gherkinwithapurplemerkin · 13/04/2010 15:51

Taking dd1 to have verruca seen to again later. Would be easier just to amputate foot.

Ladyblahblah - generally works out as 1 extra point for every 100 calories burnt off on WW - though I dont bother eating the work out points as (from experience) I know that that way weight gain lies...

NomDePlume · 13/04/2010 16:12

yes Lady, on weightwatchers you can 'earn' extra points allowance for exercise. Not loads of points but it can useful if you slip over by a point or 2.

45 mins of swimming (pretty constant swimming, not 10 laps and a half hour chat on the sides) earns 2 points

40 mins on a rowing machine is also 2 points (but obviously that will depending on how vigorous you are, how fit you are, how good you machine is etc).

45 minutes brisk walking is 2 points

30 mins gentle cycling is 1.5 points

30 mins strenuous cycling is 3.5 points

NomDePlume · 13/04/2010 16:17

agree with dinky though, I don't usually count my 'activity points' because I don't like to rely on them. They are a good buffer.

If dinky is right about the 1pt per 100cals burnt then ww is underestimating for me and my rowing machine, as I burn around 350 cals a session, so I am closer to 3.5 points in the activity bank.

isthatporridgeinyourzone · 13/04/2010 16:21

I know we're not meant to lust but ...coffee cake yum yum.

Have been making pond with DS today including barrowing a ton of sand. Surely that must count for something?

U can't touch this - bring it on! Where's Coco?

NomDePlume · 13/04/2010 16:34

ton of sand definitely counts

Themasterandmargaritas · 13/04/2010 16:42

You lot are affecting me finally. 5 Ryvita with cream cheese, cherry toms and 4 plums for lunch. I'm bloody STARVING though.

Pork casserole tonight, I will portion control.

Someone has offered me the possibility of a real consulting job. Ten days in another country

NomDePlume · 13/04/2010 16:55

congratulations TM&M, are you considering it ?

QueenCoco · 13/04/2010 17:11

hello ladies, am terrified to step on the scales, should be heading back darn sarf tomorrow if all goes well for my Dad in the morning. He is out of hospital, still confuzzled bless him, but at home and in 'his' chair so things are ok. Care plan in place, nothing else I can do up here but I do love my walks along the beach.

Have to confess I have eaten some serious crap food - not crisps, choc etc, but ahem fried stuff... and caramel cakes oh bollocks, why is my sister so thin??????? snot fair.

dont bollock me please, i am still delicate but promise to be back to normal next week.

bobbiewickham · 13/04/2010 19:15

QueenCoco · 13/04/2010 19:22
